Cryptocurrency Online Poker Site CoinPoker is Hosting a Summer Knockout Series in August

CoinPoker has become very efficient recently at getting the info out about their upcoming online series. Gone are the days when they’d release the news just a day or two before. CoinPoker are now well ahead of the curve, with at least two full weeks (if not more) being the new norm for announcing promotions for the crypto online poker site.

CoinPoker recently revealed itself as the sponsor of the 2024 Irish Poker Festival in Dublin and the site has now released info about its next online tournament festival, the Summer KnockOut Series.

Running from August 18th to August 25th, the Summer KnockOut Series, features 75 tournaments where every elimination counts and bounties escalate. All tournaments use the popular progressive knockout format, which CoinPoker has spiced up even further, with some tournaments assigning as much as 90% of the buy-in to the bounties.

The series carries $500,000 in guaranteed prize pools with an added $15,000 in value added by CoinPoker. This includes $6,000 in Leaderboard prizes and a further $9,000 in ticket giveaways.

Buy-ins range from $1 to $5,000, catering to every type of tournament players, regardless of bankroll.

The Main Events

As has become traditional in many online series, there is more than one main event, with different versions of the same tournament at varying buy-ins aiming at different sections of the player base.

CoinPoker’s Summer Knockout Series has three Main Events with low, mid, and high buy-ins, all taking place at 19.05 UTC on Sunday 25th August. In fact, it’s really four Main Events, because the series High Roller also takes place at the same time on the same day:

Main Event Low: $2 Buy-In, $400 Guaranteed
Main Event Medium: $20 Buy-In, $4,000 Guaranteed
Main Event High: $200 Buy-In, $50,000 Guaranteed
Series High Roller: $2,000 Buy-In, $75,000 Guaranteed

Daily Summer Knockout Festival Tournaments

There are seven events every day during CoinPoker’s Summer Knockout Festival, with more on Sundays, adding up to a total of 75 tournaments taking place throughout this short online poker festival.

Start times of daily events are 16:05, 17:05, 18:05, 19:05 daily, plus 20:05 on Sundays (GMT).

Tournaments are all No Limit Hold’em, but with various formats, including 6-max, turbos, deep and shallow stacks.

$9,000 Summer Knockout Festival Tickets Giveaway

CoinPoker is adding Main Event seats to several of the tournaments throughout the festival. The tournaments called “Superfly,” which take place every day are the ones that include these added prizes.

CoinPoker will also be adding $3,500 worth of satellite tickets to various tournaments in the immediate run up to the start of the festival.

$6,000 Summer Knockout Festival Leaderboard

CoinPoker has included a festival leaderboard with $6,000 in prizes awarded to the top twenty players during the 8-day series. Players earn leaderboard points by knocking out opponents and based on their eventual finishing position in each tournament.

Depositors Freerolls for Further Free Entry Opportunities

In addition to the $15,000 of added value that is being injected directly into the festival, CoinPoker is also hosting two freerolls, each awarding $3,000 in festival tickets as its prize pool.
