WSOPC Toronto 2025
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) returns to Toronto for its second edition following the inaugural series held in spring 2024.

The 2025 WSOP Circuit Toronto series will once again take place at Great Canadian Casino Resort, now the exclusive host venue for all WSOP events in Ontario, including the WSOP Circuit, as part of a partnership with GGPoker, the current owner of the World Series of Poker.

The 2025 WSOP Toronto runs from April 10 to April 22 and features a full schedule of 11 ring events.
Organizers anticipate the overall prize pool will exceed CAD 6.5 million.

This article offers a comprehensive overview of the upcoming festival, including the schedule, Main Event structure, and on-site registration requirements.

WSOP Circuit Toronto 2025: Full Schedule

The 2025 WSOP Toronto runs for 13 days from April 10 to April 22. This edition expands upon the inaugural series by introducing three additional tournaments, bringing the total number of ring events to 11.

Buy-ins start at C$300 and go up to C$3,500, offering a variety of options for players at different bankroll levels. Key additions to the schedule include:

  • C$300 Ladies Event (April 11)
  • C$400 Seniors Event (April 15)
  • C$800 Mystery Bounty (April 14–15)

While there is no advertised guarantee for the Main Event, expectations are high that it will generate a prize pool exceeding C$3 million.

The C$3,500 High Roller is also projected to draw a substantial field, with organizers estimating a prize pool of approximately C$1.1 million.

Participation in all WSOPC Toronto events requires players to be members of the Great Canadian Rewards program. This membership is a prerequisite for both registration and entry into the venue.

2025 WSOP Circuit Toronto Main Event Details

The WSOPC Toronto Main Event begins on April 17 and will run through April 21. The buy-in for this multi-day event is set at C$2,000. The prize pool is expected to surpass C$3 million, based on turnout from the previous edition.

There will be three Day 1 starting flights on April 17, 18, and 19. Players who make it through these initial flights will return for Day 2 on April 20. The tournament will then play down to a champion on April 21.

The expected turnout is driven by the strong performance of the 2024 Main Event, which generated a C$2.8 million prize pool from 1,600 entries.

2024 WSOP Toronto Recap

The inaugural WSOP Circuit Toronto ran from March 22 to April 1, 2024, hosted at the same venue — Great Canadian Casino Resort. That series featured eight ring events, including a C$2,000 Main Event.

The overall series attracted more than 6,000 entries. Of these, 324 players qualified through GGPoker’s online platforms, including the Ontario-specific site.

The total prize pool for the series exceeded C$5.5 million, significantly surpassing the initial projections of approximately C$4 million.

The Main Event drew 1,600 entries, generating a prize pool of C$2.8 million. Demand was high, and the number of participants could have been greater if not for venue capacity limits.

Khaled Aljoma emerged as the 2024 WSOPC Toronto Main Event winner, earning C$427,191. A total of 240 players cashed in the event, with the minimum payout set at C$2,948.

The return of the WSOP Circuit to Toronto in 2025 solidifies the city’s place on the international poker calendar.

With an expanded schedule of 11 ring events, including newly introduced formats like the Ladies Event, Seniors Event, and Mystery Bounty, the series aims to build on the momentum generated in 2024.

The C$2,000 Main Event, expected to surpass C$3 million in prize pool, remains the headline attraction, drawing interest from both live and online qualifiers through GGPoker and GGPoker Ontario

The exclusive partnership with Great Canadian Casino Resort makes the venue a long-term home for WSOP events in Ontario.

As registration requires a Great Canadian Rewards membership, early preparation will be key for players.

With significant prize pools, structured tournament formats, and growing player engagement, the 2025 WSOP Toronto stands as a major stop on the WSOP Circuit tour.
