Asian Poker Tour (APT) 2024

The Asian Poker Tour (APT), one of the premier poker tours in Asia, was founded in 2008 has held more than 80 major events, in addition to numerous smaller tournaments and qualifiers in Asia and the Asian-Pacific regions. Typically there are 8-10 stops per year, mainly in the Philippines, South Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan. In 2023 there were just seven stops and it remains to be seen how many will be scheduled for 2024. The main event buy-ins vary as each takes place in local currency, but they are mostly in the $1k-$2k price range.

Asian Poker Tour Schedule 2024

The APT seems to be announcing its events on a one-by-one basis this season.

So far one 2024 event has been completed, APT Taipei which took place from February 28 - March 10.
 
The second event of the year will be in Jeju, South Korea from April 26 - May 5.

APT Jeju 2024

Spanning ten days in April and May, APT Jeju will feature 85 Trophy Events, with guaranteed prize pools totalling over KRW 5 billion ($3.76 million). The APT Main Event itself carries an impressive KRW 2 billion ($ 1.5 million) guarantee. There are 53 No Limit Hold'em tournaments, 11 High Roller tournaments, 18 Omaha tournaments, and a mix of 14 assorted others on the tournament schedule. Two new events will debut this year: the Omaha Masters and the Mix Game Masters.

Exclusive Online APT Satellites at Natural8

Natural8 players can qualify online tto APT events through the poker room's exclusive online satellites. 128 seats were guaranteed to APT Taipei and a further 98 have been assured for the APT Jeju Main Event.

OnLive Day 1s for APT Jeju at Natural8 Poker

The OnLive format allows players to participate in the APT Main Event from the comfort of their homes. Competitors who last until they reach the money in the online Day 1 events will automatically advance to live Day 3 action in Jeju, skipping the live Day 2. The first OnLive Day 1 is set to commence on Sunday, April 7 on Natural8.

The Asian Poker Tour (APT), one of the premier poker tours in Asia, was founded in 2008. The very first tournament was held in May of 2008 in Manila, Philippines, and it is now one of the world’s largest poker tours.

Since its inception, the Asian Poker Tour has held more than 80 majors, in addition to numerous smaller tournaments and qualifiers in Asia and the Asian-Pacific regions. 

Countries that have hosted tournaments are the Philippines, Macau, South Korea, Cambodia, and more. The APT has handed out over 30 million USD in prize money so far.
