Where can you qualify online for the WSOP?
GG Poker has online satellites to the WSOP. New players can use the bonus code NEWBONUS when signing up to receive a welcome bonus of up to $600.
What is the difference between a poker tour and a poker series?
Nothing, they are just names. There are some quite inventive names for poker events, but the most often used ones are tour, series and championship.
Who is the best tournament player in the world?
There is no absolute correct answer to this question, as there are different ways to measure skills and success in poker. One of the players who has a claim to being the best tournament player in the world is Phil Hellmuth, aka 'Poker Brat' has won 17 WSOP gold bracelets, which is more than any other player. He is also the only player to have won the WSOP Main Event and the WSOPE Main Event.
What is the difference between tournament and cash game poker?
In cash games, poker is played for cash and players can pick up their chips and cash them out at any time. Tournament poker is different, as once the players have paid their entrance fees they play with chips which do not have cash value, with the last remaining players (typically 12-15%) in each tournament winning cash prizes.
