GGPoker Launches in Denmark with Danske Spil Deal

It’s official: GGPoker has entered the Danish market. Thanks to a new agreement with Danske Licens Spil, poker fans across Denmark can now tap into one of the world’s largest poker platforms. Backed by a freshly secured supplier license from the Danish Gambling Authority, GGPoker is rolling out its full suite of features for local players.
It’s a big move for both companies and even bigger for the Danish poker scene.
What Danish Players Can Expect
The new partnership means GGPoker’s tournaments, features, and promotions are now accessible through Danske Spil’s familiar platform. That includes headline events like the WSOP Online, GGPoker World Festival, and GGMasters, alongside a wide array of daily and weekly tournaments.
Players can qualify for live poker events through WSOP Express satellites and win travel packages to global stops. Plus, they’ll now have access to tools like PokerCraft and Smart HUD, giving players more insight and control over their game.
Sarne Lightman of GGPoker said this partnership brings “the best poker experience in the world” to Denmark. And with full access to GGPoker’s international network, it’s hard to argue with that.
A Familiar Setting, with Global Access
Danske Spil customers won’t need to adjust much: GGPoker will operate within the same trusted environment they’re used to, but now with an international twist. The software will look and feel like GGPoker globally, but with all the local safeguards and standards that Danish players expect.
Søren Schneider of Danske Licens Spil said the goal is to give players “a world-class poker experience” by blending GGPoker’s cutting-edge platform with Danske Spil’s long-standing reputation in Denmark.
