The Asian Poker Tour is scheduling a massive festival later this year, bringing an extensive lineup of high-stakes tournaments and substantial guarantees to Taiwan.
Running from November 12 to November 29, 2026, the flagship APT Championship Taipei 2026 will take place at the Red Space Asia Poker Arena.
The multi-week series is defined by highly structured freezeout events, premium high-roller fields, and prestigious championship tier titles.
The tournament schedule officially gets underway on Thursday, November 12, with the Asia Gaming Industry Championship Freezeout, featuring a buy-in of TWD 13K. This opening event sets the stage for a series of major guaranteed tournaments scheduled throughout the initial week.
Among the early highlights is the National Cup Championship, sponsored by DeepRun. This tournament features a TWD 16K buy-in and offers a substantial TWD 20,000,000 guarantee across five opening flights.
It is followed by the Mystery Bounty Championship, sponsored by Natural8, which carries a TWD 15,000,000 guarantee and a TWD 35K buy-in. To maintain structural integrity, the Mystery Bounty event caps participation at a maximum of two entries per player.
Another major prize pool opportunity arrives with the multi-flight Ultra Stack Championship, offering a TWD 25,000,000 guarantee for a TWD 25K buy-in.
As the series enters its second half, both the buy-ins and the prize pools escalate significantly. The centerpiece of the entire festival is the APT Championship Main Event Freezeout.
Beginning on November 23 and running across multiple operational days, this marquee tournament features a premium buy-in of TWD 311.9K and a massive overall guarantee of TWD 165,000,000, with an explicit prize pool allocation of TWD 155M.
High-stakes competitors will also have access to several elite tournaments running alongside the Main Event. These premium options include:
- Natural8 Cup Championship Freezeout: Features a TWD 35,000,000 guarantee and a TWD 93.5K buy-in.
- High Roller Championship: A high-tier tournament carrying a buy-in of TWD 467.9K.
