WPT Global Opens $1.10 Qualification Path to WPT Seoul
- WPT Seoul satellites start at $1.10 and end with $1,500 packages.
- Weekly $88 qualifiers on WPT Global guarantee three festival packages each Sunday.

WPT Seoul does not begin until the end of October, but its online qualification route is already in motion.
WPT Global has set up a four-stage satellite ladder starting at $1.10 and ending with $1,500 packages for the inaugural festival at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort. The weekly $88 qualifiers guarantee three packages every Sunday, with the eventual winners heading towards the KRW 1 billion guaranteed WPT Seoul Inspire Championship in November.
Four Steps Lead to a $1,500 Package
The qualification structure uses three satellite levels before the final package is awarded:
- $1.10 Step
- $8.80 Satellite
- $88 Qualifier
- $1,500 WPT Seoul package
The lower-cost steps and satellites feed into the $88 qualifiers, which run on Sundays through October 25. Each weekly $88 tournament guarantees three $1,500 packages, with the Sunday qualifier scheduled for 12:05 UTC.

The package includes entry into Day 1A of the WPT Seoul Inspire Championship on November 5 and $250 in expenses. Winners also receive access to the VIP Ultra Lounge, the player party and event merchandise.
The first 30 package winners receive an additional four-night stay at Brown Dot Hotel Eurwangri from November 4–8. That hotel benefit sits outside the fixed $1,500 package value.
WPT Seoul Heads to INSPIRE
WPT Seoul runs from October 30 through November 9 at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, marking the World Poker Tour’s first festival at the venue. The series will also coincide with the opening of a new entertainment area housing the YY Poker Club, Ultra Lounge and other facilities.
The headline WPT Seoul Inspire Championship begins on November 5 and concludes November 9. It carries a KRW 1,750,000 buy-in and KRW 1 billion guaranteed prize pool.
The satellite campaign therefore runs almost to the start of the live series, with the final Sunday qualifiers scheduled five days before WPT Seoul gets underway.
