EMPC 2026
Mixed-game poker players are getting an arena of their own in Northern Europe this autumn. The European Mixed Poker Championship 2026 is officially locked in to run from October 26 to October 31, 2026, bringing an ambitious 12-event schedule to Estonia’s capital.

The brainchild of some of the most respected minds in the European poker community, the festival shifts the spotlight away from standard Texas Hold'em and onto the niche, high-action variants of the game.

If you are ready to test your overall poker capabilities, let's explore the venue, the structural philosophy, and the complete event schedule.

Main Event & Tournament Highlights

The flagship tournament of the week is the €800 buy-in 8-Game Main Event, which features two starting flights (Day 1A and Day 1B) on Friday, October 30.

As far as the rest of the schedule goes, the blind progressions and limit schedules have been balanced to ensure that early levels don't become irrelevant, while the late stages preserve deep-stacked post-flop play.

Outside of the Main Event, key highlights on the schedule include:
  • The S.O.R.B.E.T. High Roller: A premium €1,500 variant playing out on Thursday, October 29.
  • Senkel’s Paradise Pick’em: A unique €300 twist running on the evening of October 29.
  • 6-Game Mystery Bounty: A €300 closing-day event on October 31 combining mixed disciplines with unpredictable bounty cash drops.

The Venue and Host City

The entire festival will take place at the Olympic Park Casino, situated inside the Hilton Tallinn Park in the heart of Tallinn, Estonia. Widely regarded as the premier live poker hub in the Baltic region, the venue features an expansive poker room that regularly hosts massive regional festivals like the Kings of Tallinn and The Festival.

The Vision Behind the Championship

The initial inspiration for the European Mixed Poker Championship 2026 grew from the surging popularity of non-Hold'em variants in Scandinavia, where events like the Norwegian Championship 8-Game regularly draw hundreds of unique players.

This reality prompted tournament pioneer Frode Fagerli and 13-time World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) winner Tobias Jelsa Leknes to design a standalone European festival.
