Cork is getting ready for a week of poker, and the locals will probably insist the real capital of Ireland (that's what they say) is about to become the country's poker capital, too. Fair enough. The partypoker Tour Ireland - Cork rolls into Macau Casino from November 9-15, 2026, bringing a €100,000 GTD Main Event, a €50,000 GTD Mini Main and a full week of poker action.
The schedule looks quite tasty for low- and mid-stakes grinders. A €150 Mini Main, €250 Mystery Bounty and plenty of affordable side events make up the menu, with a few high rollers thrown into the mix.
If you're considering playing, tour satellites start at just €0.20 on partypoker! Check out the event details and the full partypoker Tour Cork schedule below.
partypoker Tour Cork: Main Event and Other Highlights
The Cork €500 Main Event with a €100K GTD is the big one, offering four starting flights scheduled between November 12 and 14.
For low- and mid-stakes players, the €150 Mini Main with a €50K GTD looks like a good option. A €30 buy-in on-site satellite also gives more players a shot at getting into the tournament.
A little bit of everything. We don't know the final details of the €250 Mystery Bounty €50K GTD yet, but our guess is that the top envelope could reach €10,000 or even more.
| Tournament | Dates | Buy-in | Guarantee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini Main Event | Nov 9-12 | €150 | €50,000 |
| Main Event | Nov 12-15 | €500 | €100,000 |
| Mystery Bounty | Nov 14-15 | €250 | €50,000 |
| High Roller | Nov 15 | €1,000 | TBA |
No Prize-Pool Deductions = More for Players
The partypoker Tour is doing something different with its 0% prize-pool deduction policy. The operator says there are no deductions from advertised prize pools and no additional administration fees, meaning the full allocated prize pool remains available to players.
That's a welcome change in a live poker world where players are used to seeing deductions taken before the money reaches the payout list. It's worth remembering that this doesn't mean the events are rake-free. partypoker's policy specifically covers prize-pool deductions and additional admin fees, but it does leave more money on the table for players.
Compare that with events such as WSOP Europe and WSOP Circuit, where staff deductions can reach 5% of the prize pool.
Don't worry, the staff, floor managers and dealers will still get paid. Just not by taking an extra cut from the prize pool in Cork.
How to Qualify for partypoker Tour Cork
Why pay the full price when you can try to win your way in? partypoker's online satellites start at just €0.20, with freerolls and free sports betting and casino tournaments adding even more shots at a Main Event ticket.
The live satellites provide several routes into the bigger events, with buy-ins starting at just €30:
| Target tournament | Satellite buy-in |
|---|---|
| Mini Main Event (€150) | €30 |
| Main Event (€500) | €60 or €85 |
| High Roller (€1,000) | €115 |
Macau Casino: A Proper Poker Room in the Heart of Cork
The PartyPoker Tour is heading to Macau Casino, 16 St. Patrick's Quay, Cork City. The venue has a dedicated 4,500-square-foot poker room, with cash games running alongside regular tournaments. There's also a wider casino floor with table games and slots, plus the Mint restaurant if you need a break from the tables.
The poker room is usually open from 6 pm until 6 am, so late nights are nothing new here. With a full week of PartyPoker Tour events on the schedule, Macau should be a busy place in November. And if you fancy doing something other than playing cards, Cork has plenty to offer just outside the door.
