Omaha madness is in full swing. PokerWired breaks down the events worth playing in GGPoker's $20M PLO Series.
One of the most epic online poker series tailored for the nuts hunters is live now. What are we talking about? The GGPoker PLO Series 2026, running November 1-17 with a $20 million guaranteed prize pool and a $200K leaderboard to spice things up for high-volume PLO grinders.

Hands down, this is the best online PLO festival of 2026, and if you want to know why, keep reading. It's time for another PokerWired Deep Dive.

GGPoker PLO Series 2026 snapshot
GGPoker has packed more than 450 tournaments into 17 days of Omaha action. There is traditional four-card PLO, five-card Omaha, bounty formats, Mystery Bounties and the relatively new Ocean KO format. Buy-ins range from $15 to $10,000.

#1. PLO Ocean KO: The King of KO Formats Is Stealing the Show

The $25 PLO Ocean KO has produced some seriously impressive numbers. Its 3,160 unique players generated 51,224 total entries, pushing the prize pool to $1,178,152 and beating the $1M guarantee by $178K. That's an average of 16.2 entries per player. Clearly, plenty of players weren't content with taking just one shot.

The bounty payouts tell another interesting story. Runner-up 44aleksei44 collected $44,531.47 in bounties, more than eventual champion Futbol is LIFE!, whose bounty haul came to $18,165.96. The winner still secured $36,333.02 in regular prize money, but the figures show just how much of a role the knockout rewards can play in Ocean KO.

The format's popularity shouldn't come as a surprise. The NL $5 Ocean KO previously attracted 420,084 entries, setting the record for the largest online poker tournament by total entries.

Good thing is, GGPoker has several Ocean KO tournaments remaining in the PLO Series, including PLO-5 events and buy-ins ranging from $10 to $1,000.

Ocean KO combines Progressive Knockout mechanics with randomized bounty multipliers. The system features 14 evolution levels, with multipliers reaching up to 400x under specific conditions.

#2. $215 PLO Mystery Bounty Main Event

The official Main Event offers another $1 million prize pool, with a much more approachable $215 buy-in. The headline attraction is a $100,000 top mystery bounty, meaning one well-timed knockout could be worth more than winning several regular tournaments.

Mystery Bounty used to be the undisputed king of knockout formats before Ocean KO entered the picture. And PLO (a proper nutbuster) is a natural fit for bounty hunting, as the action tends to get big, fast.

The real question is whether Mystery Bounty can still compete with Ocean KO when the buy-ins are similar.

The opening flights are already running on GGPoker, with around 660 entries recorded so far. Players still have to make it through to the November 9 Final Stage, where the million-dollar prize pool awaits.

#3. $54 Weekender PLO Bounty

The $54 Weekender PLO Bounty is a good target for players across different bankroll levels. GGPoker runs plenty of cheap satellites throughout the week, and traffic in these qualifiers can be on the lower side.

If you can snipe an early European-hours satellite, you might not have to battle through a massive field to secure your seat in the target event. The $125K GTD Weekender runs every Sunday during the PLO Series.

The $200K Leaderboard: Extra Value for the Volume Grinders

GGPoker has also put $200,000 aside for the top 1,500 players. The leaderboard rewards tournament finishes based on prize-pool size and finishing position relative to the field.

The top prize combines T$10,000 with a PLO High Roller ticket worth $10,000. Even the 1,500 finisher gets T$20 for their efforts. These rewards can be used for buy-ins and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

The leaderboard is a nice extra for players planning to grind volume throughout the PLO Series. And since we're talking about GGPoker, there are already some serious maniacs putting in the hours.

PokerWired Verdict: Plenty of Omaha Action, Plenty of Nuts to Bust

GGPoker's PLO Series has something for just about every bankroll, from bounty hunters firing $25 Ocean KOs to high rollers splashing around in the biggest games.

The $25 Ocean KO has set the early benchmark, and the remaining ones will most likely keep the hot streak going. The $215 Mystery Bounty Main Event brings the million-dollar headline, while the $54 Weekender is a tasty option for smaller bankrolls, especially with satellites offering cheaper routes every week into the action.

And if $54 tournaments aren't quite your thing, there's always the $10K GGMillion$ PLO. That's where the super high rollers can go looking for the really big nuts.

With around 400 events still to come, the Omaha madness is nowhere near finished. Whether you're a recreational bounty hunter or a high-stakes PLO maniac, GGPoker is the place to be until November 17. Just remember to pick your battles. Not every nut is worth chasing.
