Goliath 2026 Schedule Released as Grosvenor Brings Back Its Flagship Coventry Festival

Grosvenor Poker released the full schedule for Goliath 2026, confirming that one of the UK’s most recognisable live poker festivals will return to Coventry from July 23 to August 2. As usual, the centre-piece is the £200 Goliath Main Event, which is once again expected to do the heavy lifting on attendance and prize pool size.

What matters for this summer edition is that the numbers keep moving in the same direction. Last year’s Main Event drew 12,961 entries and generated a £1,970,600 prize pool, and Grosvenor is now estimating that the 2026 edition will push through the £2 million mark.

Goliath built its reputation on scale and accessibility, and the 2026 schedule stays close to that formula.

The Main Event keeps its £200 buy-in unchanged and returns with nine starting flights, including two turbo options late in the week. Day 2 is set for August 1, with Day 3 playing to a winner on August 2. The event arrives at a busy point in the poker calendar, coming shortly after the 2026 World Series of Poker and the FIFA World Cup final, but that does not appear to have changed the underlying plan.

If anything, Grosvenor seems to be leaning harder into the same pitch that has worked for years. The entry points remain low, the field is expected to be massive again, and the schedule gives players multiple routes into the tournament without forcing them into a high upfront cost.

That structure is a big part of why Goliath has kept growing since it launched in 2011, aside from the COVID interruption years. For many UK and European players, it still sits in the sweet spot between a proper festival experience and an event that does not require a bankroll conversation first.

Grosvenor has also confirmed a practical change that should matter to regulars and casual players alike.

The Grosvenor Poker Live app now supports debit card and voucher buy-ins on both iOS and Android, which means players can lock in seats earlier and with a bit less friction than before. It is not a glamorous update, but it is the sort of detail that matters for a festival built around volume.

The satellite ladder stays wide open too. Players can qualify directly into one of the Main Event flights from £30, while feeder satellites begin from as little as £1. Grosvenor has also noted that Live Event Credit won through online satellites can be used across the full Goliath schedule, which gives players a bit more flexibility than simply targeting the Main.

That matters because Goliath has never really been about one type of player. The field is a mix of qualifiers, occasional live players, low-stakes regulars, and those who simply want a large-field shot without having to spend four figures to get one.
