KKPoker has officially commenced its Micro Monsters Series, a specialized online poker event running from 7 May through 24 May. The KKPoker series features a total prize pool exceeding $180,000 and focuses on high value opportunities for players, with tournament buy-ins starting at a nominal 10¢.
The series utilizes a unique "Micro Monsters" theme centered in the digital realm of KK Land. In this narrative setting, participants act as KK Heroes assisting the KK King to protect the realm from an attack of micro monsters.
Players progress through the event by acquiring a digital item known as a SWORD. These are earned through two primary methods:
- Completion of specific daily missions
- Achieving success within the Micro Monster Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs)
Slaying Monsters for Instant Cash Rewards
The Swords earned during the series serve a functional purpose beyond status. Players use these items to slay monsters, which can unlock instant cash prizes reaching up to $1,000. This system provides an immediate incentive structure for those participating in the 18 day schedule of events.
For players seeking high-level competition, the series includes the exclusive Dragon Slayer Leaderboard. Participants climb these rankings by helping the KK King defeat the ultimate beast. Those who finish at the top of the leaderboard are recognized as the premier competitors of the series.

A major highlight of the schedule is the $6K Micro Monster MTTs. These tournaments offer a $6,000 prize pool for a 10¢ buy-in, emphasizing the series goal of providing monster payouts for tiny entry fees.
