Adrián “Amadi_17” Mateos is a Spanish professional poker player with six WSOP bracelets, an EPT Main Event title and more than $69.8 million in recorded live tournament earnings. He sits fourth on poker’s all-time money list and comfortably leads Spain’s career earnings rankings. Mateos added two of the biggest results of his career in 2026. He won the $200,000 Triton Invitational in Montenegro for a career-best $6.37 million before taking down the $250,000 WSOP Super High Roller for $4,334,411, becoming the youngest player to reach six WSOP bracelets.
Adrián Mateos discovered poker at 16 after watching the game on television. He began studying through poker forums and videos, and by the time he was 18 he was already producing live tournament results in Spain. His early success prompted a move from Madrid to London as he pursued poker professionally.
The first major sign of what was coming arrived in January 2013. Mateos won the Estrellas Poker Tour Madrid Main Event, collecting more than €100,000 only months after turning 18. The result followed his first recorded tournament victory at the Circuito Nacional de Poker in Madrid in late 2012.

Another major championship followed in 2015 when Mateos won the EPT Grand Final Main Event in Monte Carlo. He collected €1,082,000 and added an EPT title to the WSOP Europe Main Event already on his résumé.
His second bracelet came in the $1,500 Summer Solstice event at the 2016 WSOP, followed by another landmark result one year later. Mateos defeated the field in the $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship in 2017, making him the youngest player at the time to win three WSOP bracelets, aged just 22.

In 2021, he won the $250,000 WSOP Super High Roller for $3,265,362 and bracelet number four. By then, his schedule was dominated by some of the largest buy-ins on the WSOP, Triton and other international high-roller circuits.
The following years pushed his live earnings into another bracket. Mateos finished runner-up in the 2023 Triton Monte Carlo Main Event for more than $3.1 million and earned another $3.292 million as runner-up in the 2024 Triton Invitational in Montenegro. His 2024 tournament results alone amounted to more than $13.1 million.
Bracelet number five arrived online in 2025, but 2026 proved even more significant. Mateos won the $200,000 Triton Invitational in Montenegro for $6.37 million, the largest individual tournament cash of his career and a record score for a Spanish poker player.

Mateos defeated a 56-entry field in the $250,000 WSOP Super High Roller, earning $4,334,411 and becoming the youngest player in WSOP history to reach six bracelets. The final table included Phil Ivey, Jason Koon and Bryn Kenney.
Mateos remains a Winamax ambassador and continues to play the highest buy-in tournaments around the world. By September 2026, his live earnings had climbed above $69.8 million, enough for fourth place on the all-time money list and first among Spanish players.
