Over 10,000 satellites will take place during the qualifying period, with the main qualifier taking place on Sunday evenings at 6.30pm (UK), costing $1,200 to enter. While most players don’t have the bankrolls to support buying in directly to a four figure satellite, there are cheaper feeder satellites to enable players to gain entry to the Sunday qualifiers. 

Currently the cheapest satellites are priced at $20 and they award seats into a $150 buy-in satellite that awards seats into the Sunday direct qualifier. Although not yet confirmed, it’s expected that GG Poker will add another layer of satellites that are cheaper than $20, which would make access truly open to all players on the site.

The Main Event Maynia 6.30pm Sunday qualifiers currently have 25 packages guaranteed, however even with a soft launch over the last two weekends, these guarantees were blown away. The first satellite on March 10th generated 23 packages with a 10 package guarantee, while last Sunday’s version produced 33 seat winners with 25 guaranteed. It’s highly likely that the 25 package guarantee will be increased  during the qualification period.

As well as the Sunday satellites, there are also some Road to Vegas satellites throughout the week, some also priced at $1,200 with varying guarantees and other priced at $250.
