Day 2 of the €5,300 EPT Barcelona Main Event has concluded, with 205 players bagging their chips for Day 3 on Tuesday, August 25. The tournament attracted a total field of 1,823 players, while the minimum cash is €9,900.
Zazri's tournament ended after he flicked his final 10,000 chips into the pot from early position. Josep Ruiz was the only player interested in the hand and called from the button.
The remaining tables completed their hands before the cards were tabled, with cameras arriving at the table for the action.
Zazri held a pocket pair, but it failed to survive against Ruiz's A8o. The board ran out JQKKA, giving Ruiz the winning hand and sending Zazri out of the tournament.
Zazri quickly left the tournament area in 272nd place, becoming the player to bubble the 2026 EPT Barcelona Main Event.
With Day 2 now complete, 205 players have secured their places for Day 3. Play resumes on Tuesday, August 25, with the field continuing its run through the €5,300 EPT Main Event.
The tournament began with 1,823 players, and the minimum cash stands at €9,900. Zazri's elimination came immediately before the paid places, leaving him without a cash despite reaching 272nd place.
