888poker Global League runs from June 10 to July 18, 2026.
Players compete in weekly freerolls & main tournaments to earn points.
Top 11 from each country reach the finals; play is free or with buy-in.
Probably inspired by the FIFA World Cup this summer, online poker also decided to take on the international team dynamic, in its own way. 888poker unveiled its newest promotion, the 888poker Global League, running from June 10 to July 18, 2026, which allows players to battle for regional pride.
Competitors will earn points individually to climb their national leaderboards, with the top tier advancing to a final multi-nation tournament. If you have ever wanted to test your skills on a global stage, here is a complete guide to how the points system works, when the events run, and what you can win for your nation.
How the League Structure Works
The promotion balances individual achievement with national representation. While you play your own game at the tables, your ultimate objective is to earn enough points to secure a spot in your country's "final 11" squad.
The competition moves through a clear qualification process over a five-week period. Anyone can participate, and the route to the finals can be accessed completely for free or through direct buy-ins, depending on how you prefer to manage your bankroll.
The league is divided into three distinct phases that players must navigate to earn their roster spots.
1. Qualifier Freerolls: These events run weekly from Thursday to Saturday. They offer a zero-cost entry point to win seats into the weekly Main Tournament. To find the entry passwords, players must monitor 888poker’s official social channels, including Instagram, Discord, and X (formerly Twitter).
2. Main Tournaments: Held on Sunday afternoons, these are the core battlegrounds where Global League points are distributed. Players can enter either by winning a seat via the freerolls or by paying the direct buy-in fee. Points are calculated based on your final finishing position in the tournament.
3. Final Tournament: Once the four weeks of qualification conclude, the top 11 point-earners from each participating country will officially form their national squad. These players will represent their homeland in the final event to crown the winning country.

The entire promotion takes place over a strict summer window, broken down into weekly cycles:
