EPT Paris 2026
The 2026 European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris has officially concluded, leaving behind a trail of broken records, heart-stopping coolers, and a new crop of champions. From the high-stakes intensity of the Super High Roller to the chaotic energy of the Mystery Bounty, the City of Light provided a spectacular backdrop for world-class poker.

While established legends like Niklas Astedt added more hardware to their trophy cases, the week belonged to Portugal’s Jorge Abreu, who navigated a massive Main Event field with a "pillar-to-post" performance that will be remembered for years to come.

€3,250 Mystery Bounty: Lagodich Tops the Charts

The Mystery Bounty format continues to be a fan favorite, blending traditional tournament strategy with the adrenaline of "the draw." The Paris edition saw a massive 782 entries, generating a total prize pool of over €2.2 million.

Frank Lagodich

American Frank Lagodich emerged victorious, securing a total payout of €304,360. While Lagodich took the trophy, the UK's Mitchell Johnson proved that you don't need to reach the final table to win big; despite finishing in 49th place, Johnson pulled enough "big envelopes" to bank a €64,000 bounty haul, the largest of the event.

€50,000 Super High Roller: Astedt’s Masterclass

In the stratosphere of high-stakes poker, few names command as much respect as Niklas "Lena900" Astedt. The Swedish phenom, often cited as the greatest online tournament player in history, proved once again that his live game is just as lethal.

€5,300 Main Event: Jorge Abreu’s Effortless Victory

The crown jewel of the festival, the EPT Paris Main Event, drew a staggering 1,474 entries, creating a prize pool of over €7 million. The final table was a dramatic clash between seasoned professionals and passionate fan favorites.

Portugal’s Jorge Abreu, playing under the moniker "Jorginho88," entered the final day with a massive chip lead and never looked back. Abreu seemed untouchable, finding the right cards at the right moments.

Despite his dominance, Abreu remained humble:

I think I did what I had to do, and I got really, really, really lucky. To be honest, I’m feeling the same as I was 24 hours ago... I haven’t landed yet I guess. But it feels really good

While Abreu was the champion, German streamer Felix “xflixx” Schneiders was the heart of the tournament. Starting the final day as the shortest stack with only 10 big blinds, Schneiders rode a wave of "GRND" support and timely double-ups to reach heads-up play.

For Schneiders, the second-place finish and €717,350 prize was the culmination of years of work:

It means the world. It’s the biggest score of my career already. It’s all we’ve been working for the past three years. EPT is the dream... I’ve got the crew with me and they’re all supporting me. It’s a crazy ride.
