Richard Geyer claims the chip lead in the €1,650 PokerStars Open at EPT Paris 2026 after Day 1ab, while Ian Bradley heads the remaining 30 players in the €10,200 Mystery Bounty. Massive prize pools and elite competition continue in Paris.

The 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris is in full swing at the Palais des Congrès, delivering high-stakes drama and massive prize pools.

The early headlines belong to Richard Geyer, who has secured a commanding lead in the PokerStars Open, and Ian Bradley, who sits atop the counts in the prestigious Mystery Bounty event.

Geyer Crushes Day 1ab of the €1,650 PokerStars Open

The €1,650 PokerStars Open saw a massive turnout for its opening flights. Day 1ab attracted 426 entries, creating a staggering €717,120 prize pool. By the time the bags were brought out, only 64 players remained.

The story of the day was undoubtedly Richard Geyer. Geyer put on a masterclass in aggressive tournament poker, accumulating a massive stack of 976,000 chips.

He enters the next stage as the definitive chip leader, well ahead of the chasing pack as the field eyes the lion’s share of the nearly three-quarter-million Euro prize pool.

High Stakes in the €10,200 Mystery Bounty

For those looking for higher stakes and the thrill of the "envelope," the €10,200 Mystery Bounty did not disappoint. The event drew 65 elite entries, generating a €303,600 prize pool (excluding the bounty components).

After a grueling Day 1, the field has been whittled down to the final 30 players. Leading the charge is Ian Bradley, who finished the night with 452,000 chips. Bradley will have his work cut out for him as he navigates a field of seasoned professionals all vying for those lucrative mystery bounty certificates on Day 2.

With the EPT Paris schedule packed with more events, the intensity is only expected to rise as the festival progresses.
