GG World Festival 2026
The GG World Festival 2026 weekend saw 24,530 entries in the Sunday Main Event and massive mystery bounty payouts. Nicolas Godard secured a $113,000 bounty haul, while Marius Gierse and Simon Wilson triumphed in grueling two-day GGMasters championship events.

The first full weekend of GGPoker's GG World Festival 2026 concluded with massive turnouts and significant prize pool escalations from May 8 through May 10. 

Across the Low, Medium, High, and Super tiers, players turned out in force to crush guarantees. With the $10 Million Guaranteed $525 World Bounty Festival looming just over a week away, the competitive landscape is intensifying across all leaderboards.

Low Tier: Mystery Bounty Drama

The Low tier featured some of the largest player pools in online poker. Event 64-L: Saturday Secret KO [Mystery Bounty] saw 21,701 entries build a $499,123 prize pool. Norway’s GG_WP! secured the victory for a total of $24,508.59. 

However, the standout performance came from JacobWilder of Poland, who finished in 411th place but claimed the top mystery bounty of $34,110.

In Event 80-L: Sunday Showdown, 22,361 entries pushed the prize pool to $205,721.20. A three-way ICM chop saw Romania’s RadicKhal take first place, though Argentina’s Alvaro Petrone secured the largest prize of $8,566.51. 

Germany’s MarkTru highlighted the volatility of the format, earning $14,008 in bounties despite a 522nd place finish.

Medium Tier: Argentina Dominates Sunday Main Event

The $55 Buy-In Event 75-M: Bounty Hunters Sunday Main Event drew a staggering 24,530 entries. The prize pool reached $1,241,218, with Argentina taking the top two spots. Chacofuego emerged victorious, earning a combined $76,550.19 in prizes and bounties.

In Event 76-M: GGMasters, Austria’s Marius Gierse showcased incredible endurance. Over a two-day marathon lasting 28 hours and 38 minutes, Gierse outlasted 7,849 entries to claim the $144,155.48 top prize from a $1,083,162 prize pool.

High Tier: Nicolas Godard Collects $113K in Bounties

The High tier produced the most significant bounty haul of the weekend. In Event 75-H: Bounty Hunters Sunday Main Event, 4,062 entries generated a $2,031,000 prize pool. 

Vietnam’s Nicolas Godard took first place, and while his standard prize was $96,039.61, he added a massive $113,039.96 in bounty rewards.

Ireland’s Simon Wilson also found success in Event 76-H: GGMasters HR. Wilson navigated a field of 1,184 entries over 26 hours of play to win $199,070.28, one of the highest individual payouts of the weekend.

Super Tier: Sharp Plays and Ongoing Action

The $10,000 Buy-In Event 64-S: Saturday Secret KO saw Y Schneider of Austria take the win for a total of $79,218.33. 

Interestingly, third-place finisher Johannes Straver and fourth-place GREAGYPoker both earned more than the winner thanks to bounties of $84,550 and $84,000 respectively.

In Event 80-S: Sunday Showdown, Poland’s Dawid Smolka topped 439 entries to earn over $115,000 in combined winnings. Brazil’s Edilosn Junior also made waves by pulling a $79,000 bounty from 12th place.

The prestigious Event 76-S: GGMillion$ High Roller is currently heading to its final table. With 257 entries and a $2,492,200 prize pool, nine players remain in the hunt for the $481,199.42 top prize. 

Sebastian Gaehl enters the live-streamed final table with the chip lead, while Y Schneider remains in contention for a second title this weekend.
