PokerStars Open Malaga 2026
Malaga is quickly becoming the crown jewel of the European circuit, and the 2026 PokerStars Open is set to prove why. From June 16 to June 22, the Gran Madrid Casino Torrequebrada will host a festival that promises more than just world-class poker. 

With a €1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event anchoring the schedule and a curated social calendar featuring everything from Paella lunches to late-night Flamenco shows, this is the stop where the "grind" feels more like a getaway.

The Crown Jewels: Main Event & High Rollers

The 2026 schedule is designed for maximum action, headlined by the €1,100 Main Event (Event #8). With four starting flights (1/A through 1/D) and 60-minute levels on the deeper flights, players are treated to one of the most robust structures at this buy-in level. 

For the heavy hitters, the €2,200 High Roller kicks off early in the week, followed by the €5,000 Super High Roller on the penultimate day. The series also introduces a Mystery Bounty Cup (Event #15) with a €400 buy-in.

More Than Just a Game: Off-the-Felt Luxury

What truly sets Malaga apart is the integration of the local culture into the festival. This year’s "Activity Days" at the Higueron Hotel are a central part of the experience. Players can expect a full social itinerary:

  • The Welcome Party: Live music and drinks on Wednesday night to kick off the Main Event.

  • Cultural Immersion: A traditional Paella lunch on Thursday followed by an authentic Flamenco show on Friday evening.

  • The Recovery: A dedicated "Swimming Pool Day" on Saturday with food and drinks to help players recharge for the final table marathons.
