The World Series of Poker Circuit debuts in Mexico City from August 31 to September 11, 2026, at Hotel Barcelo Mexico Santa Fe. The festival features 12 gold ring events, a $1,700 Main Event, and GGPoker online satellites starting at $5.
For the first time in history, the World Series of Poker Circuit is coming to Mexico City. From August 31 through September 11, 2026, the Hotel Barcelo Mexico Santa Fe in CDMX will become the premier poker destination in Latin America.
Presented by Bigbola Casinos, WSOP Circuit Mexico City will deliver 12 official gold ring events to the region. GGPoker serves as the exclusive online gateway for the festival, offering players a chance to secure a seat without paying the full entry fee.
The World Series of Poker has served as a competitive proving ground since 1970. The Circuit series extends this legacy beyond Las Vegas to cities worldwide.
The gold rings awarded during this inaugural edition in Mexico City carry the exact same weight as the hardware handed out on the Las Vegas Strip, making this a founding moment for poker in Latin America.
Twelve Official WSOP Gold Rings
The WSOP Circuit gold ring represents a permanent entry in the official World Series of Poker record books.
WSOP Circuit Mexico City features 12 ring events across eleven days, featuring No-Limit Hold’em, specialty formats, and high-stakes events. The complete schedule for the lineup will be announced soon.
In addition to the hardware, every ring event champion will receive a $5,000 package to the WSOP Circuit Championship in the Bahamas. This prize provides each title winner with an entry into one of the most prestigious postseason events in poker.
The centerpiece of the stop is the Main Event, which runs from September 4 through September 9, 2026. Featuring a $1,700 buy-in, this tournament will draw a large field to crown the inaugural champion of the destination.

GGPoker is acting as the exclusive online home for WSOP Circuit Mexico City satellites. Online qualifiers run from July 2 through August 23, offering a satellite ladder tailored for varying bankrolls:
Saturday Freeroll: Runs at 8:30 PM UTC+0, awarding four tickets directly into the $215 Satellite at zero cost.
- $5 Daily Step Satellite: Runs every hour from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM UTC+0, with Sunday sessions from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM UTC+0.
- $33 Daily Step: Runs at 12:00 AM UTC+0, with a Sunday edition at 9:00 PM UTC+0.
- $22 Sunday Step: Runs at 8:00 PM UTC+0.
$215 Satellite to the $1,700 Main Event: Runs every Sunday at 11:00 PM UTC+0, guaranteeing at least one Main Event seat.
The festival takes place at the Hotel Barcelo Mexico Santa Fe, a five-star property located in the Santa Fe financial and business district of Mexico City.
The hotel features 300 rooms inspired by Mexican culture, a fully equipped gym, and multiple dining options including La Terraza restaurant, the outdoor Buda Bar, and El Barco Lobby Bar.
Special room rates are available for tournament players starting August 31. Superior Rooms are priced at $99 USD per night for single occupancy and $115 USD per night for double occupancy, plus taxes. The venue is located just minutes from the international airport.
