1. The Innovation: Target Stack Satellites
Most 2026 GGPoker satellites now use the Target Stack format. Instead of playing until a certain number of players remain, you win your seat the second you hit a specific chip count (e.g., 50,000 chips).
The Meta Strategy:

For GGMasters ($150) & Sunday Million$ ($54)
- The "Direct" Satellite: Look for the "1-in-10" or "1-in-5" Mega Satellites that run 90 minutes before the main event.
- Strategy: In these non-target satellites, the Survival Meta returns. When 11 players remain for 10 seats, and you are 3rd in chips, your VPIP should be 0%. You can literally fold Pocket Aces to a shove because your seat is already mathematically secured.
For Sunday Hundred Grand ($15)
- The T$ Builder Path: GGPoker runs "T$ Builders" every 30 minutes. These have 0% rake.
- Strategy: Use these to grind "Tournament Dollars." Instead of winning a specific seat, you win T$ which you can use to enter the Hundred Grand. This is the most efficient way to enter low-stakes events without losing money to the "house" via satellite entry fees.
4. The "Satellite Bubble" Math (2026 Edition)
In 2026, many players use AI-assisted charts for ICM (Independent Chip Model). In a satellite, the value of chips changes drastically:
