South African poker players now have a new place to play and it’s one they probably already know.
Hollywoodbets, one of South Africa’s most established betting platforms, has officially added a full-scale online poker room to its suite of gaming products. This new offering is powered by EvenBet Gaming, a well-known B2B developer with over 15 years of poker technology behind it.
This marks the first time real-money poker has been made available through Hollywoodbets, and the rollout is fully integrated into the existing user interface — meaning no separate logins, no new platforms to download, and no change to existing accounts.
Bringing Poker to the Hollywoodbets Platform
Hollywoodbets customers can now access Texas Hold’em cash games and a selection tournaments each week. The setup is designed for recreational and more serious players alike, bringing competitive poker into the mainstream for South African players, many of whom previously had limited local options.
The launch also stands out for its simplicity. Poker is now another tab in the Hollywoodbets experience, not a separate app or poker skin. That alone makes it one of the more accessible platforms in the country.

The new poker room includes Texas Hold’em cash tables and recurring weekly tournaments, aimed at providing South African users with the kind of poker experience that’s been standard in other global markets for years.
