CoinPoker is preparing to launch the Global Online Poker Championship, a 37-day online tournament series running from August 23 to September 28, 2026, with $50,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools.

Known as the GOPC, the championship will feature separate tournament schedules for Europe, Latin America and Asia, alongside global events, Main Events, High Rollers, CoinMillion tournaments and CoinMasters competitions.

Buy-ins across the championship range from $2.20 to $25,500, giving the series a structure that extends from low-stakes tournaments to a $25,500 Super High Roller Championship.

More than 700 Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals will also be awarded across GOPC events, while an additional $350,000 is allocated to leaderboards, the Podium Race and Bankroll Boost rewards.

Three Regional Schedules for the Global Online Poker Championship

The Global Online Poker Championship is divided into three main regional schedules covering Europe, LATAM and Asia.

Events are scheduled around the respective regional time zones and divided into High, Mid and Low buy-in tiers.

CoinPoker has also created three regional GOPC teams. Team Europe is represented by Patrick Leonard and Mario Mosböck, Team LATAM by Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo and Yuri Dzivielevski, and Team Asia by Steve Yea and Congya Zhang.

Throughout the 37-day series, players will compete in regional Medal Events alongside tournaments that form part of the wider global schedule.

The championship includes formats and structures such as 6-Max, 8-Max, Progressive Knockout, Turbo, Deepstack, Freezeout and Pot Limit Omaha tournaments.

$4.25 Million Guaranteed Across Three Main Events

Three separate Main Event tiers account for $4,250,000 in guaranteed prize money.

The largest is the $530 GOPC Main Event, which carries a $3,000,000 guarantee. Day 1 flights will run during the championship before the remaining field returns for Day 2 on September 28.

The other two Main Events significantly reduce the entry price:
  • $530 Main Event: $3,000,000 guaranteed
  • $55 Global Main: $1,000,000 guaranteed
  • $11 Global Mini Main: $250,000 guaranteed

The $55 Global Main and $11 Global Mini Main are scheduled with three daily flights on most days during the series.

Their final Day 1 opportunities take place on September 20, followed by Day 2 on September 21.

Four $1 Million CoinMillion Events Join the GOPC

CoinPoker's $215 CoinMillion will run four special GOPC editions during September.

Each tournament has a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and awards a GOPC Gold Medal to the winner.

The four editions are scheduled for:
  • September 6
  • September 13
  • September 20
  • September 27

The first GOPC CoinMillion begins on September 6, alongside the opening stages of several of the championship's largest tournaments.

The fourth and final edition takes place on September 27 during the championship's final Sunday.

$25,500 Super High Roller Headlines High-Stakes Schedule

At the opposite end of the buy-in structure from the $2.20 events is the $25,500 Super High Roller Championship.

The single-day tournament takes place on September 22 and comes with a $1,000,000 guarantee.

Other major high-stakes tournaments on the GOPC schedule include a $5,000 High Roller Opening Ceremony with $500,000 guaranteed, a $5,200 8-Max High Roller with $500,000 guaranteed and a $10,300 High Roller Championship carrying another $500,000 guarantee.

Pot Limit Omaha also features during the series, including a $5,000 PLO Championship High Roller with $200,000 guaranteed.

More Than 700 GOPC Medals to Be Awarded

Podium finishes will have an additional significance during the Global Online Poker Championship.

CoinPoker says more than 700 Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals will be awarded during the series.

Gold Medal winners receive a physical trophy as well as a matching digital Gold Medal displayed in their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet. Silver and Bronze Medals are digital awards.

The medal system is also connected directly to the championship's $20,000 Podium Race.

Players receive:
  • 10 points for a Gold Medal
  • 5 points for a Silver Medal
  • 2 points for a Bronze Medal

The five players with the highest Podium Race totals after the championship will share the $20,000 prize pool.

Medal points are the same regardless of the buy-in of the qualifying event.

$350,000 Added Through GOPC Promotions and Leaderboards

Outside the regular tournament guarantees, CoinPoker has allocated another $350,000 across three GOPC promotional structures.

The largest portion is the $200,000 Regional Leaderboards.

There are nine leaderboards in total, with High, Mid and Low divisions for each of Europe, LATAM and Asia. Players earn leaderboard points by finishing in the money in eligible GOPC tournaments.

Europe has $105,000 allocated across its three leaderboards, while the LATAM leaderboards total $55,000 and the Asia leaderboards total $40,000.

The remaining promotional allocation consists of the $20,000 Podium Race and $130,000 in Bankroll Boosts.

CoinPoker states that Bankroll Boost rewards can include tournament tickets, personalised missions and other second-chance rewards.

GOPC Opens on August 23

The first week of the Global Online Poker Championship runs from August 23 to August 29 and is built around the Opening Ceremony and regional 6-Max Championships.

The opening Sunday also includes a $5,000 High Roller Opening Ceremony with $500,000 guaranteed and an increased $400,000 guarantee for the $150 CoinMasters BITCOIN tournament.

Week 2 introduces the 8-Max Championships and the first Weekender Day 2 events.

The first $215 CoinMillion GOPC Edition arrives on September 6, while Progressive Knockout Championships become a central part of the schedule from September 13 to September 19.

September 20 begins one of the busiest stages of the championship. It includes the third CoinMillion, final flights for the Global Main and Global Mini Main, and an increased $500,000 guarantee for the $150 CoinMasters BITCOIN.

The $25,500 Super High Roller follows on September 22.

Championship Sunday Brings the GOPC to Its Finale

The final championship weekend takes place on September 27 and 28.

September 27 features the fourth $1,000,000 guaranteed CoinMillion, additional regional and global championship events, PLO Championships and the final Day 1 flight for the $3,000,000 guaranteed Main Event.

The remaining Main Event field returns on September 28 for Day 2, which brings the 37-day Global Online Poker Championship to its conclusion.

Across the full schedule, CoinPoker has set $50,000,000 in guaranteed tournament prize pools, with events spanning three regional schedules and buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $25,500.
