Cash Game Players Can Win from Stake Poker’s 1 Million Bad Beat Jackpot
- Bad Beat Jackpot worth $1million on Stake Poker
- Hold'em & Omaha ring games are eligible
Stake Poker’s Bad Beat Jackpot offers a $1 million payout pool for qualifying losing hands in Hold’em and Omaha ring games.
Stake Poker has introduced a $1 million Bad Beat Jackpot for its Hold’em and Omaha ring games. Players who lose with a qualifying hand could trigger the jackpot if all conditions are met.
To qualify, Hold’em players must lose with at least AAAJJ, while Omaha players must have 2222x or better. At least four players must be dealt in, and both showdown participants must use two hole cards. A pocket pair is required for any four-of-a-kind.
Eligibility Standards for Triggering a Payout
The hand must go to showdown for it to be eligible. Players who muck their hands before the river or who disconnect and miss the hand conclusion will not be eligible. Only the first board counts if the hand is run more than once.
Players not dealt into the hand or those who leave the table before the hand finishes will not receive any portion of the jackpot, even if seated at the table prior.
Distribution of Jackpot Payout
Each blind level holds a separate jackpot fund, and prizes are distributed in the following manner:
- Losing Hand (Bad Beat Winner): 8%
- Winning Hand (Bad Beat Opponent): 5%
- Remaining Players at Table: 3% split equally
The jackpot fund is accumulated via 2.5% of rake collected from ring games. The prize is automatically paid out at the end of the hand and credited to each qualifying player's wallet.
Limitations and Table Eligibility
Only designated ring game tables featuring the jackpot icon are eligible. Tournament games, Sit & Gos, and other formats do not qualify.
Each prize is paid at the conclusion of the hand and logged in the user’s transaction history. Players are required to remain on the table until the hand is completed to be eligible for any distribution.
