10th Anniversary Series Ends on Unibet Poker
10th Anniversary €100k Phase Tournament Continues Until March 17th

The Unibet Poker 10th Anniversary Series is now over, but the celebrations are not yet complete.

Unibet Poker has been celebrating the ten year anniversary of their current poker software. Having previously been a site on a wider poker network, ten years ago Unibet decided to go it alone, left the network and opened a new online poker room of their own, using software from Relax Gaming. We certainly hope the staff that work there were able to relax during this €600,000 guaranteed tournament series, as many of the tournaments fell short of their guarantees. We expect that they did manage to relax, as the vast majority of these overlays were very small and the site is not averse to offering a bit of value to its loyal customers.

There were 105 tournaments on the 10th Anniversary Series schedule and just 20 of them failed to hit their guarantees. The vast majority of these only missed by a small amount and there were only a handful of tournaments that were not covered by the reg fees. As Unibet Poker is completely anonymous (players can change their screen name as often as they like) it would serve no purpose to publish the results of the events, however we can reveal that one player managed to win no less than six tournaments! The first place prize awarded in the main event, which was a €100 PKO amounted to just over €7,000, including bounties.

The anniversary celebrations have been great so far, the series and the promotions on other games are really starting to heat up. On top of that it looks like the €10 phase tournament will reward players with a €10K overlay, it might be midnight for Unibet but it will certainly be a great weekend for the players!

€100k Phase

While the anniversary series has concluded, the celebrations continue this week right up until St Patrick’s Day (17th March) when Phase 2 of the Anniversary €100,000 guaranteed phase tournament takes place. There is still time to get involved, with Phase 1 starting days taking place several times a day on Unibet Poker right up until Phase 2 begins. With just a few days left to claim a seat in day 2 of the €10 buy-in tournament it is running 10% behind where it needs to be to meet the guarantee. There is potentially a five-figure overlay waiting to happen, providing excellent value for anyone who gets involved, even at this late stage of the competition.

Ongoing Player Promotions

There are also other promotions linked to the 10th Anniversary that are still until March 17th.

€115,000 in prize drops. Random prize drops that happen on cash game tables. If a cash drop happens an animation starts and all players at the table will win the same random value prize. While most of this has already been doled out, there’s still a few days left of random prize dropping on the Unibet Poker cash game tables.

Guaranteed Hexapro Jackpots. Hexapro is Unibet Poker’s three-player spins product, where there is a random prize, determined just before the game starts. Up until March 17th, there are time slots during which the bigger multiplier prizes (100x or 1000x) are more likely to hit. There’s still plenty of time to get involved with this promotion as the best value days for this promotion are yet to come. On March 15th and 16th, there will be special time slots, during which biggest jackpot multipliers (1000x) are guaranteed to hit. Hexapros with €0.2, €1, €2, €5, €10 and €20 are all participating in this promotion.

What’s Coming Next at Unibet Poker?

With the Anniversary Series now complete and the other celebrations well into their final week, it will be back to the regular tournament schedule for a while on Unibet Poker. No details have been released yet about what or when the next tournament series will be, but PokerWired will report on news of the next series as soon as information is known.
