The 2026 Diamond Poker Series took place in Malta at Portomaso Casino, delivering a full schedule of Pot Limit Omaha tournaments.

The series combined high buy-in championship events with Grand Slam formats and side events, drawing a strong international field across multiple PLO variants.

The schedule featured a €15k PKO opener, the €10k Championship, the €5k Million PLO Grand Slam event, and additional PLO and PLO5 formats. Each event contributed to the overall competitive structure of the series.

€15k PKO High Roller Opens the Series

The Diamond Poker Series opened with the €15,000 + 300 PKO High Roller. The event recorded 21 total entries and met its €300,000 guarantee.

After reaching heads up play, Gergö Nagy defeated Jonas Kronwitter to secure the opening title. Kronwitter settled for second place, continuing a deep run that set the tone for his later results during the series.

€10k Championship Draws Triple Digit Field

The €10,000 + 300 Championship became the centerpiece of the series, attracting more than 100 entries across its starting flights. The event exceeded its €1,000,000 guarantee, creating a final prize pool of €968,200 after fees.

Lauri Varonen claimed the championship title and collected €239,300 for first place. Lucas van den Belt finished second, followed by Alexander Petersen in third. Dennis Weiss recorded a fifth place finish, adding another deep result for the German contingent during the festival.

€5k Million PLO Grand Slam Won by Kronwitter

The €5,000 + 200 5k Million event formed part of the PLO Grand Slam schedule and generated 192 entries. The prize pool reached €940,000 after deductions.

Jonas Kronwitter converted his earlier deep runs into a title, winning the event for €202,600. Dario Alioto placed second and earned €126,000, while Germany’s NoNeedMoney finished third for €97,700. Additional final table appearances included players from the Netherlands and Germany, underlining the international nature of the field.

€2k PLO5 Bomb Pot Side Event
