APAT 2026
The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 season, promising one of the most ambitious years in the organization's history.

With a confirmed lineup of 20 live tour stops, the tour is intends to crisscross the United Kingdom while making international appearances in the Czech Republic, Ireland, and Malta. The 2026 schedule makes it clear that this edition is there for the "heart and soul" of the poker community, the amateur player looking for professional-grade tournaments without the high-stakes price tag.

Expanding APAT: Regional and International Highlights

A major cornerstone of the 2026 season is the partnership with Grosvenor Casinos, which will host 10 APAT UK Regional Championship events. This expansion brings the tour to several new locales, including a first-ever visit to Newcastle and two highly anticipated stops in Scotland, Glasgow and Edinburgh, scheduled to anchor the summer months.

The international stage remains a vital part of the APAT identity. The European Championship of Amateur Poker (ECOAP) will return to Grand Casino Asch in the Czech Republic, featuring the prestigious European International Team Championship. Furthermore, APAT will continue its tradition of co-hosting the Irish Championship alongside the legendary Irish Open in Dublin, providing amateur players a chance to be part of one of Europe’s most iconic poker festivals.

Innovative Formats and Championship Series for 2026

For fans of variety, the 2026 calendar is packed with more than just standard No-Limit Hold'em. London’s Genting Casino Stratford remains a hub for dedicated festivals, hosting the UKCOAP in March and the BCOAP in October. These events will feature a diverse array of games, including Omaha, 8-Game, and the newly introduced Dealers Choice Mixed 10-Game Players Championship.

The season will culminate in the "Poker Squads" 4-person team event in Manchester, ensuring that the 2026 tour ends with the same community-focused, team-oriented spirit with which it begins.
