  • Benny Glaser wins two more WCOOP titles, reaching 19 career wins.
  • Brazil dominates national leaderboard with 82 series titles.
  • Main Events in NLHE and PLO are now live, open to all players via satellites.
The GOAT strikes again: Glaser's 19th WCOOP title ties him atop the all-time COOP leaderboard.
Whoever thought online festival season was slowing down clearly hasn't looked at the PokerStars lobby this weekend.

We are right in the thick of the WCOOP 2026 frenzy, and the last 48 hours delivered just about everything: five-figure bounty runs, surging leaderboard battles, and the all-time tournament GOAT adding two more trophies before dinner.

Glaser Tears Up WCOOP Again With Saturday Double to Reach 19 Titles

Benny Glaser claimed he was taking his foot off the gas for WCOOP 2026. The online mixed-game community probably wished he meant it.

Even with dialed-back volume, the UK mixed-game specialist pulled off an absurd Saturday double on September 26, capturing two titles in a single afternoon session.

Glaser first topped a 36-entry field in the $530 Stud for $8,357. Hours later, he navigated 58 entries in the rescheduled $530 HORSE to pocket $11,082, dispatching Christian "CMoosepower" Elgstrøm heads up.

That pushed Glaser to three wins for the 2026 series alone, ballooning his record-holding WCOOP total to 19 career titles. The performance also ties him with Patrick "pads1161" Leonard for the all-time COOP leaderboard lead at 31 combined victories.

Across eight years, Glaser has collected trophies in HORSE, PLO, Razz, 2-7 Single Draw, Badugi, and 8-Game, once again proving he is the ultimate final boss of online poker.

Piekazewicz Went Feral In $2K Sunday Warm-Up PKO

While Glaser was racking up trophies in small-field variants, Brazil’s Alisson "heyalisson" Piekazewicz generated the weekend's most eye-popping head count.

Piekazewicz conquered the $2K Sunday Warm-Up PKO for $77,207 total. The kicker? A massive $52,219 of that sum came purely from eliminations.

Collecting more than double the base first-place payout in bounties alone is rare even in hyper-aggressive PKO fields.

The victory marks Piekazewicz’s second career WCOOP title, backing up his 2025 triumph in the $10K Thursday Thrill where he took home $193,235.

WCOOP 2026 Hat Tricks and Weekend Multi-Winners

The multi-title club added another high-volume name over the weekend: the UK’s "DeanoSupremo." By outlasting 800 entries in the $109 6-Max Turbo for $13,589, they locked up their third victory of the 2026 series, adding to previous wins in a $215 NLHE and a $215 Mystery Bounty.

Several other regulars joined the double-champion ranks:
  • "flerrehuve" (Sweden): Locked up title number two in the $1K Mystery Bounty Sunday Cooldown for $19,995, with roughly half coming from bounties.
  • "Relthor1301" (Brazil): Bested 96 entries in the $2K Saturday KO for 36,419(16,859 in bounties), holding off Pedro "PaDiLhA SP" Padilha (2nd) and Patrick "pads1161" Leonard (4th).
  • Renan "Aziz.Mancha" Aziz (Brazil): Snagged his second win of the series in the $109 Sunday Supersonic for $18,534.
  • "CUPUrul0r" (Austria): Denied Markku "markovitsus" Koplimaa heads-up in the $530 Supersonic to win $17,246.

Further down the lobby, Rayan "Beriuzy" Chamas took down the 104-entry $1K 7-Max for $23,965 to become a six-time WCOOP champion. Romania’s Vlad "dariepoker" Darie secured career title number three in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up PKO for 37,078(16,923 in bounties), while Ukraine’s "drew.derzh" won the $1K 6-Max Turbo over 104 entries for $23,380.

2026 WCOOP Main Event Showdowns Are Underway

The preliminary schedule now takes a back seat to the week every online grinder circles months in advance. The WCOOP NLHE Main Events are officially landing, spread across key price points to give everyone from bankroll-building grinders to nosebleed regs a shot at big boy money:

  • $109 NLHE Main Event (Low) with a $1.25M GTD: Fires off Sunday at 12:30 ET, offering seven-figure value for a modest buy-in.
  • $1,050 NLHE Main Event (Medium) with a $2M GTD: Also launches Sunday at 12:30 ET, bringing massive prize-pool density.

Four-card nuts specialists don't have to wait long, either. Monday, September 28 brings the flagship PLO Main Events straight into the mix, starting at 13:05 ET:
  • $109 PLO Main Event (Low) with a $100K GTD
  • $1,050 PLO Main Event (Medium) with a $250K GTD

If the full buy-in stings your bankroll, the satellite lobby is running round-the-clock qualification routes straight through the late-registration windows.

Direct Mega Satellites, such as the $1.10 feeder into the Low Main and the $55 qualifier guaranteeing 75 seats for the Medium, let you take a shot for literal pocket change.

Step paths run down as low as $0.55 to $5.50 in the PokerStars client, meaning nobody has an excuse to sit this one out on the rail.

It takes a grind to be a winner.
