The 2026 Triton Poker Montenegro series crowned 16 event winners, with Adrian Mateos securing the largest payout of $6.37 million. Daniel Dvoress emerged as the standout performer, winning three titles, while Danny Tang and Aleksejs Ponakovs captured marquee championships.

The 2026 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro concluded after 16 days of elite tournament action at Maestral Resort & Casino in Montenegro, producing some of the year's largest poker payouts across No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha events.

From May 13 to May 28, the festival crowned champions across a packed schedule of high buy-in tournaments. Adrian Mateos secured the largest single payday of the series, while Daniel Dvoress emerged as the most successful player of the stop with three titles.

The biggest prize awarded during the festival came in the $200,000 NLH Triton Invitational.
Spain's Adrian Mateos topped the prestigious field to earn $6,370,000, defeating Alexey Lozuyk in heads-up play. The victory delivered the largest score of the Montenegro series and added another major Triton title to Mateos' record.

Danny Tang Takes Down $100K Main Event

One of the festival's marquee tournaments, the $100,000 NLH Main Event, was won by Danny Tang.
Tang collected $3,522,000 after defeating Klemens Roiter during the event, which ran from May 21 to May 23. The result marked one of the standout victories of the entire series.

Aleksejs Ponakovs Claims 10th Anniversary Special
The $150,000 NLH 10th Anniversary Special celebrated a decade of Triton Poker and attracted one of the strongest fields of the festival.

Aleksejs Ponakovs emerged victorious, securing $3,027,000 after overcoming Jonathan Jaffe in the final heads-up battle.

Daniel Dvoress Dominates the Montenegro Stop

No player enjoyed a more successful series than Daniel Dvoress. The Canadian poker professional captured three titles during the festival, making him the most prolific winner of the Montenegro stop.

Dvoress first won the $25,000 Golden Decade event for $849,000 after defeating Dejan Kaladjurdjevic.
He later added the $100,000 PLO Main Event title, earning $2,018,000 by defeating Manuel Stojanovic.
Dvoress completed his remarkable run by winning the $25,000 PLO Bounty Quattro. 

He collected $367,500, including $112,500 in bounty prizes, while Spain's Lautaro Guerra finished runner-up for $234,000, including $50,000 in bounties. Across those three victories, Dvoress earned a combined $3,234,500.


Mike Watson Scores Two Victories

Mike Watson was another multiple-time champion during the festival. The Canadian first won the $30,000 NLH Turbo event for $659,000 after defeating Mehdi Chaoui.

Watson later captured the $50,000 NLH Turbo Bounty Quattro title and earned $621,000 while finishing ahead of Linus Loeliger.

Pot-Limit Omaha Champions Crowned

The Pot-Limit Omaha schedule produced several notable winners. Daniel Dvoress claimed the $100,000 PLO Main Event title for $2,018,000.

Richard Gryko won the $75,000 PLO 6-Handed event and earned $1,243,000 after defeating Jason Koon.

Matthias Eibinger secured victory in the $50,000 PLO Mystery Bounty tournament, collecting $1,053,000 while Joao Simao finished second.

Tobias Schwecht won the mixed-format $30,000 PLO/NLH event and earned $465,000 after defeating Anatoly Zlotnikov.

Other Notable Winners

Several other high-profile players also added Triton titles during the series. Anatoly Zlotnikov won the $25,000 NLH 8-Handed event for $715,000 after defeating Maher Nouira.

Mario Mosboeck captured the $30,000 NLH 8-Handed title and collected $928,000, with Danny Tang finishing runner-up. Fedor Holz won the $40,000 NLH Mystery Bounty tournament for $528,811 after defeating Aleksejs Ponakovs.

Christopher Nguyen secured victory in the $50,000 NLH 8-Handed event for $1,535,000 ahead of Kristen Foxen. Christoph Vogelsang claimed the $50,000 NLH 7-Handed title and earned $1,037,858 after overcoming Leonard Maue.
