Firmino Holds Off Narmontas to Win WSOP Online COLOSSUS for $752K

Sixteen thousand players had already become nine by the time Roberto Firmino Santos Filho returned to GGPoker with the chip lead. What remained was hardly a comfortable victory lap.
Ole Schemion and Matt Vengrin were both chasing another WSOP bracelet, Evaldas Narmontas would eventually take over the lead four-handed, and the final heads-up match refused to end quietly. Firmino weathered all of it to win the $400 WSOP Online COLOSSUS, collecting $752,277, his first bracelet and the largest score of his career.
The tournament drew 16,455 entries, turning its $5 million guarantee into a $6,187,080 prize pool. Only 1,675 players returned for Day 2 before the field was eventually reduced to the final nine.
Firmino Starts in Front, but Narmontas Keeps Close
Firmino came back with 185.2 million chips, around 93 big blinds, giving him a useful cushion but hardly a runaway lead.
Narmontas was already sitting on 77 big blinds, while Carlo Delafuente had 56 and Vengrin 55. Schemion, with 24 big blinds, was further down the order but carried the obvious threat of a player who had already won two bracelets.
Unfortunately, Schemion never got the chance to turn that shorter stack into a serious run. Firmino accounted for his elimination in eighth place, ending the German pro’s bid for bracelet number three. Schemion collected $121,968.
Vengrin lasted considerably longer. The American had won his first bracelet at the 2025 WSOP after a string of near-misses and reached four-handed play with another one within reach. This time it was Narmontas who stopped him.
Vengrin went out fourth for $344,876, and Narmontas briefly emerged as the player applying the pressure at the top of the counts.
On the next hand, Firmino got all the chips in before the flop against Delafuente. Four diamonds on the board gave Firmino a runner-runner flush, sending Delafuente out in third for $447,233 and setting the heads-up match.
Narmontas Doubles Twice Before Firmino Finds the Finish
Firmino began heads-up with more than 500 million chips against Narmontas’ 316 million.
Narmontas used the time well enough to double twice and keep the match alive, but he never completed the comeback.
The last hand developed on a 3♦2♠10♦5♥2♣board.
With 88.5 million already in the middle, Firmino shoved for Narmontas’ remaining 147.5 million. The Norwegian called with 8♦2♥ for trips.
Firmino showed3♥2♦ for a full house, ending the tournament and leaving Narmontas with the $579,973 runner-up prize.
