GG Ontario Festival
GGPoker Ontario is offering CAD 6 million in prize guarantees across nearly 700 events, with structured leaderboards and multi-tiered formats.

The 2025 edition of the GGPoker Ontario Festival is now underway, marking the largest online poker series to be held in Ontario’s regulated market to date. 

The tournament series, scheduled to run until June 10, features a total guaranteed prize pool of CAD 6 million. 

Participants will have access to approximately 700 tournaments throughout the duration of the series.
Maintaining the structure used in previous editions, the festival organizes events into three distinct buy-in tiers: Low, Medium, and High.

Buy-in Structure and Tier Breakdown

Low Tier: Buy-ins range from CAD3 to CAD25. This level includes events such as the CAD5 Ontario Mini MILLIONS, which offers prize pool guarantees of up to C$20,000.

Medium Tier: Covering buy-ins from CAD25 to CAD150, this segment features several large-scale tournaments. Among them is the CAD 50 Ontario MILLION$ Mini Main, which includes a CAD100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

High Tier: This group includes events with entry fees exceeding CAD150. The most notable of these is the CAD1,500 GG Ontario Championship, which offers a prize pool of CAD 200,000.

Each tier comprises 215 events and features an independent leaderboard that rewards the highest performers with CAD 25,000 in additional prize funds per tier.  In total, CAD 75,000 is allocated to leaderboard prizes across the three categories.

GGPoker Ontario Festival 2025 - Major Events 

The series includes eight events that each carry six-figure guaranteed prize pools. Among them are:
  • CAD 1,500 GG Ontario Championship
  • CAD 525 Mega Mystery MILLIONS
  • CAD 500 Ontario MILLIONS High Roller
  • CAD 210 Ontario MILLIONS Closer

All four of the above tournaments offer CAD 200,000 guarantees.

Four additional tournaments each guarantee CAD 100,000:
  • CAD 50 Ontario MILLIONS Festival
  • CAD 52.50 Mystery MILLIONS
  • CAD 1,050 GGMasters Festival High Roller
  • CAD 50 Ontario MILLIONS Festival Edition

These larger events follow a phased tournament structure, with multiple Day 1 starting flights scheduled prior to final day action.

Additional featured events include:
  • CAD 150 GGMasters Edition, which guarantees CAD 50,000
  • CAD 150 GGMasters Grand Opening, with a CAD 60,000 guarantee
  • Weekly CAD 105 Sunday Bounty King Ontario, which offers CAD 50,000 in guaranteed prizes every Sunday.

Tournament Formats

The festival schedule spans a variety of tournament types and formats. These include Progressive Knockouts (PKOs), Mystery Bounty events, freezeouts, turbo-structured tournaments, and hyper-turbo events. Games are available in both No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha variants.

Several events feature naming conventions specific to Ontario, incorporating regional references such as CN Tower Sunday Superstack, Maple Leaf Madness, Heater CN Rail Edition, and Timmy H’s.
The 2025 edition of the festival represents a substantial expansion compared to previous years. 

In 2023, the series guaranteed C$3 million in prizes. The current edition has doubled that figure, with a proportional increase in the number of events included in the schedule. 

Simultaneously, the global version of GGPoker is running a separate online series titled the GGPoker World Festival 2025, which targets international players as well as those in provinces outside Ontario. 

This global series features a total guaranteed prize pool of $250 million, spread across more than 1,600 scheduled events.
