WPT confirms return to the Venetian Las Vegas with a $4 million guaranteed event scheduled from July 11–17, 2025.

The World Poker Tour (WPT) will return to the Las Vegas strip this summer for the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Championship. The event is scheduled to run from July 11 to 17, 2025, at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

The WPT Championship event will feature a $5,000 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $4 million. The final table will be livestreamed from a newly constructed stream room located on the property. This marks the tour’s return to the Venetian since the previous WPT Championship event held in 2022.

WPT’s Continued Partnership with the Venetian

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has been a recurring host for WPT events over the years. The venue previously hosted the 2022 WPT Venetian Championship, which concluded with Robert Mizrachi winning his first WPT title. 

Mizrachi emerged victorious from a field of 1,178 players and scored a payday of $894,100. The upcoming July event will once again place the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup on display as competitors contend for a major title during the WPT’s summer schedule.

Upgrades to the Venetian Poker Room

Significant changes have taken place at the Venetian Resort since the WPT’s last visit. According to Venetian Poker Room Director Tommy Larosa, the poker room has undergone a complete transformation. 

The room now holds the distinction of being the largest dedicated poker space on the Las Vegas strip. It will serve as the primary venue for the WPT Championship and will also be part of the broader DeepStack Championship Poker Series taking place at the resort.

The return of the World Poker Tour to the Venetian Las Vegas reinforces the long-standing association between the tour and one of the most established venues on the strip. 

With an upgraded poker room, a guaranteed $4 million prize pool, and a live-streamed final table, the 2025 WPT Venetian Championship is expected to be a highlight event in the summer tournament calendar.
