WPT Global Partners with JP Poker Card Club & Casino to Expand Reach in Ireland
Online poker site WPT Global, the home of online World Poker Tour, has announced a strategic partnership with JP Poker Card Club & Casino, a prominent live poker venue in Ireland.
This collaboration further boosts the already booming live poker scene in Ireland, which has been boosted in recent years by the emergence of the Irish Poker Tour, which runs over 20 events per year in the Republic of Ireland and further afield.
Monthly €200 Flagship Event
The partnership will feature a monthly flagship tournament with a €200 buy-in and a €50,000 guaranteed prize pool, taking place on the first weekend of each month.
Players can qualify for this event through daily online satellites hosted by WPT Global, with the live tournament being held at JP Poker Card Club & Casino in Tallaght, Dublin.
First Event in October
To celebrate the launch of this new partnership, a special festival is scheduled from October 3rd to 6th, featuring a Main Event with the same buy-in and prize pool. The night before the launch event, an online satellite with 20 seats guaranteed will be held, giving players a chance to win their way into the festival for free.
