GTO Wizard released major updates to its PLO solver, adding fully customizable heads-up solving, postflop ICM for tournaments, and nodelocking. Upgrades also cover faster engine speeds, enhanced preflop libraries, new trainer tools, and improved study features.

Only a couple of months after the initial release of its Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) product, GTO Wizard has deployed a massive suite of upgrades to its dedicated PLO solver

The rapid roll-out introduces an extensive array of user-requested features, expanded strategic libraries, and core performance optimizations designed to refine postflop and preflop study.

Complete Heads-Up Solving and Exploitative Nodelocking

The centerpiece of the latest update is the launch of heads-up PLO functionality. Heads-up PLO strategy is live and fully customizable across every street, from preflop action all the way down to the river. Alongside heads-up solving, GTO Wizard has implemented nodelocking capabilities.

This feature lets players model specific mistakes made by opponents and construct targeted counter-strategies to exploit those imbalances. Furthermore, users can build comprehensive player profiles to practice against inside the platform.

Real Postflop ICM and Expanded Preflop Libraries

For tournament competitors, the platform now accommodates real postflop Independent Chip Model (ICM) calculations. These tournament solutions support custom configurations for:
  • Regular payout structures
  • Bounty formats
  • Configurable prize pools, stack sizes, and bounty amounts

Preflop study options have also grown significantly through an expanded library covering both cash game and multi-table tournament (MTT) formats.

Platform Development Roadmap

The development team continues active production on upcoming features. Future releases planned for the PLO platform include 5-Card PLO solving, further expansion of the preflop library, aggregated reporting tools, and native mobile support.
