The 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event started with Day 1a, featuring a €1,500 buy-in and a €1,000,000 prize pool. Defending champion Jenny Westerlund of Sweden busted out, while 44 players out of 104 total entries advanced from the flight.

The 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event is officially under way, bringing high-stakes action and early eliminations to the opening starting flight. 

Day 1a of the signature tournament saw defending champion Jenny Westerlund from Sweden eliminated early from contention. 

Westerlund, who captured the title during the previous festival, was unable to make it through the flight to advance to the next stage.

The featured Main Event boasts a €1,500 buy-in alongside a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. Over the course of Day 1a, the tournament clock logged a total of 104 entries. 
Competition remained fierce throughout the levels, resulting in steady eliminations across the field as players fought for a spot on the leaderboard.

By the conclusion of play on Day 1a, the starting field had been reduced significantly. Out of the 104 initial entries, only 44 players managed to survive the opening session with chips intact. 

The remaining 44 competitors will move forward in the tournament, while 60 participants, including defending champion Westerlund, saw their Day 1a runs come to an end.
