Running from March 5 to 9, this festival brings the prestige of the World Poker Tour to the luxury of the Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa. While the $1,100 Main Event carries a massive $1,000,000 guarantee, you don’t necessarily need a four-figure bankroll to get a seat.
WPT Global is currently running a series of qualification routes that start at exactly zero dollars. So, whether you're a high-volume grinder or a weekend hobbyist, the platform has opened up several "freeroll" paths to get you to the Mediterranean sun without touching your bankroll.
Freeroll Your Way to Cyprus: Weekly Saturday Action
The highlight of the qualification schedule is the Saturday Freeroll, which kicks off every week at 19:00 UTC. Unlike standard freerolls that might offer small cash prizes or generic tickets, these specific tournaments award a full $1,100 seat to the WPT Prime Cyprus Championship.
You can claim up to four tickets per week by completing simple site activities:
- Consistency Pays: Log into your WPT Global account on three different days within a week to receive one freeroll ticket.
- Get in the Game: Play any poker game on the site, including the free-to-play options, and you’ll earn one freeroll ticket.
- The Deposit Route: If you’re planning to top up your account, a deposit of $50–$99 nets you one ticket, while a deposit of $100 or more grants you three tickets.
For those who prefer the traditional satellite grind, there are also daily feeders starting as low as. These lead into the $110 weekly Sunday satellites (also at 19:00 UTC), where $2,000 packages are up for grabs. To find the freerolls in the client:
Open the WPT Global lobby and navigate to the "Tourney" tab.
Use the filter tool to select "Freeroll" under the buy-in category.
Look for the "WPT Prime Cyprus Freeroll" listed in the schedule.
If you have completed the weekly requirements (like the 3-day login), your tickets will be waiting in your "My Pack" or "Rewards" section to be used for registration.

The end goal for these qualifiers is the Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa in North Cyprus. The venue is known for its high-end amenities and massive poker room, which will host the $1,000,000 GTD Championship from March 5–9, 2026.
Winning your way in via WPT Global also comes with a massive "kicker." All qualifiers receive a $100,000 Golden Ticket. It entitles the holder to an extra $100,000 in prize money should they go on to win the live Main Event in Cyprus.
