The WSOP Circuit will return to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas from December 4–16, 2025. The series adds to a packed December schedule, overlapping with the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas and WSOP Paradise in The Bahamas.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit has confirmed a return to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas this December, adding further competition to an already crowded month of poker festivals.

Running from December 4–16, the WSOP Circuit stop will mark the first time Planet Hollywood has hosted the series since 2019. The venue, home to the newly introduced PH Poker Room which officially opened in May 2025, is set to provide players with a fresh stage to compete for championship rings.

A Packed December Poker Calendar

December has quickly become one of the busiest months in the global poker calendar. Alongside the WSOP Circuit stop, Las Vegas will also play host to the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship, running from December 2–22 at Wynn Las Vegas.

At the same time, the WSOP Paradise series in The Bahamas is scheduled from December 4–18, ensuring that top players will face challenging decisions on where to compete. 

For those considering both destinations, travel logistics will add another layer of complexity to the already demanding schedule.

High-Stakes Guarantees and Competition

Since 2023, the WSOP and WPT have intensified their competition for player participation, with both brands offering significant guarantees and incentives. 

For 2025, the WSOP has already announced a $60 million guarantee for its $25,000 Super Main Event.
Meanwhile, the WPT has hinted at upcoming “special announcements,” further adding intrigue to its December schedule. The overlap of events is expected to create a fierce battle for attendance and player attention.
