Stake Poker has announced the Centurion Warm Up Phase 1 online tournament, featuring a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and a $100 direct buy-in.
Stake Poker has officially unveiled the Centurion Warm Up Phase 1, a No Limit Hold’em event designed to serve as a high-value introduction to its upcoming tournament schedule.
The online tournament features a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool for a direct buy-in of $100, with action scheduled to begin on May 25.
Tournament Structure and Phase Rules
The Phase 1 event incorporates specific progression guidelines built around a survival format. Play for this initial phase will conclude exactly when only 15% of the starting field remains active.
The surviving players from this flight will secure their spots and advance directly to the next stage of the competition.
Stake Poker enforces a strict First Stack Forward Policy for this tournament. Under this policy, any player who successfully qualifies for the final stage is prohibited from entering additional flights to accumulate chips.
However, the structure remains flexible for those who fall short; if a player is eliminated before the phase officially concludes, they are permitted to re-enter subsequent sessions to attempt qualification again.
Registration and Gameplay Details
Official registration for the Centurion Warm Up Phase 1 on Stake Poker is set to open on May 25 at 5 PM GMT. To accommodate late arrivals, a late registration window will remain available for two hours following the initial shuffle up and deal.
The platform has established clear technical parameters to govern the gameplay economy:
Starting Stack: 20,000 chips
- Table Format: 8 players per table, expanding to 9 players for the final table
- Field Capacity: A minimum of 6 players is required to run, with a strict maximum cap of 10,000 entrants
- Re-entry Limits: Players can utilize a maximum of 9 re-entries, priced at $100 each
