€555 Main Event Takes Centre Stage

The Main Event receives a sizeable buy-in increase for 2026, moving from €350 last year to €555.

Day 1 begins at 14:30 on August 28 with a 30,000 starting stack and 40-minute levels. Nine levels are scheduled for the opening day before play resumes at noon on August 29. Registration and re-entries remain available into the early stages of Day 2, which will continue until nine players remain.

Those nine return on August 30 for the televised final table and the 2026 Queens of Tallinn title.

The event has grown steadily since its first edition. The Main Event recorded 65 entries in 2023, 85 in 2024 and a festival-record 96 in 2025. Giedre Valgemäe won last year's tournament after a four-way deal, taking €5,690 from a €27,677 prize pool.

Side Events Extend Beyond NLHE

The rest of the four-day schedule mixes deepstacks, knockout formats, Omaha and turbo events.

Among the main additions is the €200 PokerNews Queens Crown Deepstack on August 29, an eight-handed women-only tournament with a 30,000 starting stack. The same day also includes a €150 six-handed PLO4/PLO5 event.

The final day brings the €250 Progressive Bounty, with €100 from each entry assigned to progressive bounties. Other events include the €150 traditional bounty tournament and €80 Saturday Night Turbo. The current schedule also contains €100 and €150 NLH events marked as open to all players.

Tallinn Hosts Another Major Poker Weekend

Queens of Tallinn takes place at Hilton Tallinn Park, which is directly connected to Olympic Park Casino. The hotel sits between Tallinn's medieval Old Town and Kadriorg Park, with both within walking distance.

The venue has become a regular home for major Baltic poker festivals, including Kings of Tallinn and the WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Queens of Tallinn gives the same tournament setting a different focus, with the majority of its schedule reserved for women and a Team Challenge running alongside the individual events.

Tallinn itself adds a familiar backdrop for travelling players. Its medieval Old Town has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1997 and remains one of the city's defining landmarks.
