Selinger Leads WSOPC Tallinn Closing Winners With €210,000 Main Event Victory

hree more champions emerged during the closing stretch of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, led by Julian Selinger’s €210,000 victory in the Main Event.
Selinger outlasted a record 977-entry field and survived a four-hour heads-up match in which he fell to three big blinds. Aki Pyysing won the €1,100 8-Game, while Jelco Burger defeated 129 opponents in the €555 Sviten Special.
Selinger Wins Three Straight All-Ins
Roy van der Reijnst looked set to become the new WSOPC Tallinn Main Event champion when his pocket nines held against Selinger’s jack-ten.
The pot left Selinger with just over three big blinds and gave Van der Reijnst an overwhelming heads-up advantage. Instead of ending the tournament, it began a sequence of three consecutive all-ins won by Selinger.
King-jack held against jack-eight in the first. Ace-eight then remained ahead of queen-eight, before Selinger’s pocket jacks survived against ace-ten to give him the chip lead again.
Only a short time earlier, Van der Reijnst had appeared in control of the entire final table. He eliminated David Marfil and held close to 80% of the chips three-handed before Selinger doubled through him and removed Kai Lehto in third.
The title was settled after Selinger limped with eight-six and Van der Reijnst checked seven-five.
Van der Reijnst flopped two pair on a two-five-seven board and called Selinger’s raise. The king turn was checked through before a nine completed Selinger’s straight on the river.
Van der Reijnst led for 1.8 million, after which Selinger moved all-in. The Dutchman called with two pair, sending the final pot and the title to Selinger.
The victory gave Selinger €210,000 from the €1,253,002 prize pool. Van der Reijnst collected €140,500, and Lehto received €96,950.

Pyysing Prevails in €1,100 8-Game
Aki Pyysing added a mixed-game title for Finland by defeating Marius Toverud heads-up in the €1,100 8-Game.
Their duel was described as both lengthy and swing-heavy, but Pyysing eventually secured the final pot and €18,380. Toverud earned €12,220, with the 63 entries producing €59,850 in prizes.

Burger Claims First WSOPC Ring
The €555 Sviten Special drew 130 entries and created a €61,750 prize pool.
Jelco Burger of the Netherlands won the event for €15,510. The result gave Burger his first WSOP Circuit ring and, according to the WSOP database, his first recorded cash under the brand.
