GGPoker Launches Exclusive Satellites for First WSOP Circuit Malta

GGPoker will launch exclusive online satellites for the inaugural WSOP Circuit Malta festival on August 10, giving players the chance to qualify for the €1,500 Main Event from as little as €5.
The live festival will take place at Casino Malta in St. Julian’s from September 25 to October 5, 2026. A total of 12 official WSOP Circuit Gold Ring events will be played across the 11 day schedule, alongside side events and cash games.
WSOP Circuit Malta Satellites Start August 10
GGPoker will be the exclusive online qualification partner for the event.
The satellite programme will include freerolls and real money step qualifiers starting from €5. Players can progress to weekly €150 WSOP Malta Super Satellites, which will award €1,500 seats to the Main Event.
The WSOP Circuit Malta Main Event will run from September 30 to October 4.
This qualification structure gives players several routes into the flagship tournament without having to pay the full Main Event buy in directly.

The Malta festival will feature 12 official Gold Ring tournaments.
Further details about the individual events, structures and buy ins are expected to be released ahead of the festival.
Casino Malta has hosted several major international poker festivals and is located in St. Julian’s, one of Malta’s main entertainment and tourism areas.
The new stop adds another Mediterranean destination to the WSOP Circuit schedule and gives European players another opportunity to compete for official WSOP jewellery.

Ring Winners Receive $5,000 WSOP Paradise Packages
Each winner of an official Gold Ring event in Malta will also receive a $5,000 package for WSOP Paradise 2026.
The package will include a tournament entry and hotel accommodation.
This gives ring winners an additional reward beyond the tournament prize money and creates a direct pathway from the Malta festival to WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas.
Further details about the packages and the eligible WSOP Paradise tournament are expected to be confirmed closer to the event.
First WSOP Circuit Festival at Casino Malta
The 2026 festival will be the first WSOP Circuit event held at Casino Malta.
WSOP Circuit stops give players the opportunity to compete for official WSOP Gold Rings across a range of buy in levels. The events are generally more accessible than the bracelet tournaments held during the annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
The Malta stop will begin on September 25, with the €1,500 Main Event starting five days later on September 30.
Online qualification begins exclusively on GGPoker on August 10.
