Moorman and Kornuth Give ACR Two Shots at the $12M Venom Title
- Chris Moorman and Chance Kornuth reach NLH Venom final table for ACR Poker.
- Both enter with mid-level stacks; JGuayaco leads in chips.
- Kornuth also makes the PLO Venom final table; action resumes Sep 2.
ACR Poker will have two of its own pros chasing the NLH Venom title when the $12 million guaranteed tournament reaches its final table.
Chris Moorman and Chance Kornuth are both among the final nine from a 4,792-entry field, with a potential $1.2 million payday waiting at the top. Moorman returns seventh in chips, while Kornuth sits one place higher in sixth.
JGuayaco Starts With a Huge Lead
Neither ACR pro starts anywhere near the top.
JGuayaco has accumulated 485 million chips, giving the leader more than 242 big blinds when play resumes at 1 million/2 million. JasonSpichkin is the only other player above 300 million.

Moorman and Kornuth are separated by only nine million chips, but both enter well behind the leading pair.
Still, neither is in push-or-fold territory. Kornuth has roughly 43 big blinds and Moorman 38, leaving both with enough chips to apply pressure without needing an immediate double.
Moorman Makes His First Venom Final Table
For all his online success, this is a first for Moorman.
The ACR Team Pro has been one of the leading online tournament players for well over a decade, but had never previously reached a Venom final table.
Moorman has more than $24 million in recorded online tournament earnings, while his live career has produced another $11.7 million and includes two WSOP bracelets and a WPT title.
Kornuth Pulls Double Duty
Kornuth’s position is considerably stranger.
Along with his 85 million in the NLH event, he returns fifth of seven players in the PLO Venom with 31 million chips, worth just over 22 big blinds.
The PLO event attracted 1,238 entries and actually exceeded its $3 million guarantee, finishing with a $3.095 million prize pool. The NLH version, by contrast, fell short of covering its $12 million guarantee despite attracting almost 4,800 entries.
Kornuth has been here before in PLO. He finished runner-up in the April PLO Venom for $157,924 plus $25,000 in bounties.
The NLH and PLO Venom final tables both resume on September 2, with the NLH event returning at 1 million/2 million blinds.
