What Is The Hive Series?

The Hive Series is HPN's latest major poker festival, built around a colony-versus-colony competition mechanic that runs throughout the full 28 days. Unlike a traditional series where players compete purely as individuals, The Hive Series pits four teams against each other across every tournament on the platform.

Players are randomly assigned to one of four Hives at the start of the series:

Golden Stingers
Royal Grinders
Venomous Vets
Apex Swarm

Once the teams are assigned, players represent their Hive in every tournament they play, earning points for their colony automatically through the existing weekly leaderboard system. Points stack across all stake levels, meaning micro grinders and high rollers contribute equally to their Hive's total.

At the end of 28 days, the Hive with the most combined points is crowned the mightiest swarm on the platform. Players wear their assigned Hive badge throughout the series, making the competition visible and personal at every table.

The Coronation Tournament: May 24, $1,000 Winner Takes All

The entire series builds toward one moment. On May 24, the final day of The Hive Series, every weekly leaderboard winner from across all four Hives and all four weeks of competition takes their seat at the Coronation Tournament.

Up to 16 queens can qualify. Four weeks, four Hives, one weekly winner per Hive each week. A single player who dominates their Hive week after week could represent their colony alone. A Hive that rotates its weekly crown could send four different queens, each a champion in their own right.

The Coronation Tournament carries a $1,000 prize pool, winner takes all. No splits. No deals. The last player standing is crowned Empress of The Hive, the most prestigious individual title of the season, and receives the series' ultimate exclusive avatar as a permanent marker of their achievement.
