Ossi Ketola vs Patrik Antonius: $20M Winner-Take-All at Triton Jeju

Ossi “Monarch” Ketola and Patrik Antonius are officially set to collide at Triton Jeju in a $20 million winner-take-all heads-up match, with each player putting $10 million on the line.

No chopped prize pool. No second-place money. Lose, and $10 million disappears across the table.

The showdown is scheduled for September 11 at Triton Jeju and takes Ketola's rapidly escalating run of heads-up battles into completely new territory. At $10 million per player, this is not simply another high-stakes cash game. It is a spectacle built around a single question: who walks away with the entire $20 million?

And the matchup could hardly be more explosive.

Ketola has spent the past year redefining what a televised poker pot can look like.

His previous trip to Jeju produced the $12.7 million record pot against Bjorn Li, when Ketola's pocket nines held against pocket eights in a brutal preflop collision.

That came only days after he had already won a $10.99 million pot against Alex Foxen.

Now the individual pots are almost secondary. The entire match against Antonius is worth $20 million.

Ketola arrives in form after another wild heads-up battle earlier this week against Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski. Malinowski won the opening match before Ketola hit back as the stakes climbed, eventually taking the next three encounters.

There is one problem with that strategy. This time the man sitting opposite him is Patrik Antonius.

Antonius has spent more than two decades playing in some of the toughest and richest poker games on the planet. He came through the Full Tilt Poker era, battled Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and Viktor Blom at nosebleed online stakes, and built a reputation as one of the most feared cash-game players of his generation.

His live tournament record is equally imposing. Antonius has more than $34 million in recorded live earnings and remains Finland's all-time money leader.

His biggest tournament score came at the 2024 Triton Invitational in Monte Carlo, where he collected $5.13 million. He was also inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2024.

Ketola brings chaos.

Antonius brings experience.

Neither man is unfamiliar with seven-figure swings.

The matchup has another layer.

Ketola has previously credited Antonius with helping bring him into the Triton ecosystem. Ketola then invited Antonius into the 2024 Triton Invitational, the very tournament Antonius went on to win.

They are linked again at Jeju, with Antonius also joining Ketola for the upcoming Triton Invitational.

But before they play alongside each other, they are going to battle for $20 million.

For followers of the Triton Poker Series, this is exactly the kind of matchup the tour has increasingly become known for: enormous stakes, elite professionals, wealthy challengers and livestreamed poker where a single decision can be worth millions.

The current Triton Jeju II results have already produced huge prize pools and some of the strongest fields of the year.
