Ben Tollerene wins Triton Jeju $100K NLH Main Event for $3.76M, claiming his second title. Kristen Foxen records a career-best $1.44M finish, while the series shifts focus to the $150K 10th Anniversary Special.

Career-best scores dominated the headlines as Ben Tollerene captured his second Triton Main Event title, winning the $100K NLH Main Event at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju for $3,766,000.

The Texan, now boasting more than $36 million in live earnings, overcame a strong heads-up challenge from Philip Sternheimer to add another prestigious title to his resume, following his PLO Main Event victory in Triton Montenegro last year.

Tollerene entered the final table with a commanding chip lead but had to navigate through an elite field that included reigning GPI Player of the Year Punnat Punsri, third-place finisher Elton Tsang, and Kristen Foxen, who was chasing history with the potential for the largest cash ever recorded by a female player.

One of the most dramatic moments came when Foxen folded pocket kings preflop with nine players remaining in a highly complex ICM situation, a hand that quickly became one of the most talked-about decisions of the final table.

Tollerene Delivers Under Pressure to Claim Fourth Triton Title

Despite the high-pressure environment and world-class opposition, Tollerene maintained control and demonstrated his consistency at the highest level. The victory marked his fourth Triton title and placed him alongside close friend Jason Koon as a two-time Triton Main Event champion.

Reflecting on his win, Tollerene admitted he had struggled earlier in the series, stating he had no cashes before this breakthrough run. He credited the competitive field for motivating him to perform, emphasizing the challenge of competing against the best players in the world.

Kristen Foxen Registers Career-Best Triton Payday

There was also another standout performance from Kristen Foxen, who finished fourth and earned $1,449,000, marking a career-best score.

The reigning GPI Female Player of the Year and all-time female money leader now has sixteen cashes on the Triton circuit. Jeju continues to be a favorable venue for her, having previously secured a seven-figure payday of $1,104,000 in the $125K NLH 7-Handed event there in September last year.

Foxen’s deep run included the bold fold of pocket kings during a crucial stage of the tournament. Entering the day sixth in chips, she successfully laddered up to fourth place, reinforcing her reputation as one of the most accomplished players in the game.

She had been aiming to surpass the all-time largest cash by a female player, a record currently held by Liv Boeree, and while she fell short of that milestone, her performance still ranks among the most notable results on the Triton tour.
