WSOP 2025: Players Who Can Boost Their Bracelet Tally
In this article, we'll take a look at professional poker players who can clinch WSOP bracelets at the 2025 edition of World Series of Poker (WSOP).
We’re inching closer to the start of the prestigious World Series of Poker 2025 (WSOP 2025) in Las Vegas. Every year, poker players from around the world gear up for another chance to win a coveted WSOP bracelet.
Many work years for an opportunity to play among the greatest in the game and win big, while some players make deep runs and scoop multiple bracelets in a single edition. Whatever the case may be, there is no denying that whenever the new year comes, players are ready to do it all over again.
What Makes WSOP Bracelets the Ultimate Tournament Milestone?
Since its inception in 1970, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) has stood as the most prestigious tournament series in the poker world.
But it wasn’t until 1976 that the now-iconic WSOP bracelet was introduced as the official trophy awarded to event winners. What began as a symbolic gesture quickly evolved into poker’s highest individual honour—comparable to a championship ring in professional sports.
Today, the bracelet is more than a piece of jewellery. It signifies mastery, endurance, and excellence across a highly competitive and ever-evolving game.
Every summer, the WSOP awards dozens of bracelets across various formats, including No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, mixed games, and high roller championships.
In recent years, the number of bracelet events has expanded significantly, with over 90 tournaments scheduled during the series.
Legends like Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson helped define the early era of the WSOP, each securing 10 bracelets during their storied careers. Modern icons such as Phil Hellmuth, who holds the record with 17 WSOP bracelets, and Phil Ivey with 11, have continued to elevate the importance of this symbol.
The bracelet now represents not just a victory but a permanent mark in the history of tournament poker.
For players around the globe, adding a WSOP bracelet to their resume remains the ultimate goal. It’s a milestone that defines legacies, cements reputations, and in many cases, transforms careers. Take a look at the poker pros who could up their bracelet tally.
Phil Hellmuth

Poker legend Phil Hellmuth is a regular sight at WSOP and for all the best reasons. Not only does he make headlines when entering the venue in elaborate costumes but he also proves his mettle time and time again when he wins a coveted bracelet.
The felts have been a home to Hellmuth, who currently holds the title for most WSOP bracelets won with 17 in his repertoire. Widely considered one of the best poker players in the world, the BetRivers ambassador, has no intention of putting a limit on how much he can win.
Back in 2023, he won his 17th bracelet when he clinched Event #72: $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty for $803,818. Since then, Hellmuth has been hungry for his 18th one. While, 2024 saw him go home empty handed, we believe that 2025 may just be the year for him. Who knows? He may even just grab two!
Daniel Negreanu

What’s a WSOP list without mentioning Daniel Negreanu? Like Hellmuth, the Canadian poker pro is one considered one of the greatest players in the game. Since he won his first WSOP bracelet in 1998 at the $2,000 Pot Limit Hold'em event, Negreanu has been simply unstoppable.
Fondly called ‘Kid Poker,’ he has seven bracelets to his name, the latest of which he won after shipping the $50,000 Poker Players Championship event for a whopping $1,178,703 in 2024. While he may still be 10 bracelets behind Hellmuth, we’re sure he’s planning on catching up to him very soon.
Lauded for his poker intuition and skills, Negreanu has come far in his poker journey. It is without a doubt that we will be seeing the GGPoker ambassador at the 2025 edition to repeat his success and build his bracelet collection.
Scott Seiver

Hailing from the city of New York, Scott Seiver is one poker pro to look out for on the felts. With a total live earning of over $27 million (Hendon Mob), Seiver is bullet that does not miss.
He won his first bracelet in 2008 when he won the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em event and walked away $755,891 richer. From that time, the poker player has continued to prove himself in the industry. Like Negreanu, he currently holds seven bracelets.
However, it’s his last three that brings him up to legendary status. Why? Because in 2024, he managed to add not one, not two, but a whopping three WSOP bracelets to his name! When winning just one bracelet a year is a huge accomplishment, Seiver proves that the sky is the limit.
His insane run started when he took home his fifth bracelet at the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for $426,744, the sixth one at the $1,500 Razz event for $141,374 and the seventh one at the $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship for $411,041. Who knows, he might just break his record in 2025!
Nick Schulman

Another New York native, Nick Schulman is an American poker player who started his professional career from the age of 19. He first made headlines when he won the fourth season of the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Poker Finals in 2005 when he was just 21. This made him the youngest poker player to win a WPT title at that time. But Schulman was just getting started.
In 2009, he welcomed his first WSOP bracelet when he won the $10,000 World Championship No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw event for $279,742. He then went on to win his second bracelet in the same event in 2012.
Since 2023, he the poker pro has been bringing home a WSOP bracelet on a regular basis. His consistency in the game, is what puts his name in this list. With five bracelets, we’re certain that Schulman is already looking to expand his list of WSOP accomplishments in 2025.
Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey is an unstoppable force in the world of poker. Thanks to his poker skills and an ever-growing tally of poker achievements, he soon received the nicknamed, ‘Tiger Woods of Poker.’ The poker icon is one of the world’s most respected poker players and rightly so.
He first started playing in the late 1990s against his co-workers and soon took his skills to the big game. A decision he did not regret when he shipped his first WSOP bracelet in 2000 at the Pot Limit Omaha event for $195,000.
Now, 24 years and a mind-blowing 11 bracelets later, the WPT Global ambassador has proven that he’s here to stay. Last year saw the player’s biggest comeback on the WSOP felts when he clinched his eleventh bracelet after going 10 years without winning one.
He ended his dry run when he won the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship event for $347,440. With the spell now broken, we will be eagerly watching to see him win another this year.
