Sergio Aido Wins 2.22 M in WSOP Online GGMillions

Sergio Aido closed the 2026 WSOP Online on GGPoker by winning Event #33: 10,000 GGMillion High Rollers, outlasting a 1,754-entry field to collect $2,228,762.83.

Aido knocked out six players during his run to first place in the final bracelet event of the series. The tournament generated a $17,013,800 prize pool, with 173 players finishing in the money.

The event reached its conclusion on September 29 on GGPoker, when nine finalists returned to determine the champion.

Roeland Peeks entered the nine-handed final table as the chip leader with 68,743,216 chips, equivalent to 172 big blinds. Aido began second with 29,984,456 chips and 73 big blinds. 

The remaining finalists were Matheus Machado, Niklas Astedt, Ole Schemion, Christopher Nguyen, Johannes Straver, Oshri Lahmani and Alessandro De Michele. Countries were listed according to the GGPoker lobby.

The final table line-up featured several bracelet winners. Aido was pursuing his third WSOP bracelet, while Schemion was also seeking bracelet number three following victories in 2021 and at the 2026 WSOP Europe.

Machado won his bracelet at the 2024 WSOP Paradise, while Nguyen collected one earlier in 2026. Astedt entered the final table seeking his first WSOP bracelet.

The tournament offered four seven-figure prizes, with each of the top four finishers guaranteed more than $1 million.

Before the final table began, the championship prize was listed at $2,228,762, along with a $30,000 Super Pass to the 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event and a WSOP bracelet.

Aido ultimately received $2,228,762.83 for first place. Ninth place was worth $278,847, while the minimum cash in the tournament was $27,051. 

Several recognised players reached the money without advancing to the final table. Wiktor Malinowski, Jamie Dwan, Kelvin Kerber, Daniel Negreanu, Adrian Mateos, Sorel Mizzi, Lex Veldhuis and Artur Martirosian were among those who cashed. Zhengxiang Chen was eliminated on the final-table bubble.
