For one October weekend, Grosvenor Poker's lower-buy-in circuit was in three cities at once.

While the G300 took over Manchester with £100,000 guaranteed, two G200 events ran in parallel at Newcastle and Portsmouth with another £50,000 attached to each. All three reached Day 2 on Sunday, October 25, closing a six-day stretch that put £200,000 guarantees across the three rooms.

We have the details.

G300 Finishes the BNR Poker Open in Manchester

Manchester had been busy long before the first G300 flight began.

The BNR Poker Open started on October 10 and carried £280,000 in guarantees across nine events, all with buy-ins capped at £300. The program included a £50,000 guaranteed Mini Main, a £20,000 PLO Main Event, a £25,000 Mystery Bounty, a £20,000 Micro Championship and 6-Card PLO before the £100,000 G300 arrived for the closing weekend.

With all that beforehand, the G300 acted as the festival finale in an unofficial capacity. Its £260+£40 entry was at the top end of the BNR schedule, with players receiving 40,000 chips and several opportunities to qualify for Sunday’s Day 2.

This Manchester event is Round 9 of Grosvenor’s inaugural G300 season, introduced in 2026 as the higher-priced companion to the G200. Manchester had already hosted a G300 in March, while The Vic, Leeds, Luton, Reading and Coventry also appeared on the calendar during the year.

G200 Round 12 Splits Between Newcastle and Portsmouth

The G200 had a different weekend setup. Rather than put the entire round in one casino, Round 12 ran simultaneously in Newcastle and Portsmouth, with each venue carrying its own £50,000 guarantee.

The £175+£25 events followed identical structures. Players could qualify through an online flight on Wednesday before three standard live flights from Thursday to Saturday, followed by a Sunday turbo and then Day 2.

This two-venue model has appeared over and over during the G200 season this year. Earlier rounds have been spread across places including Leeds, Walsall, Glasgow, Blackpool, Bolton, Stockton and Birmingham, giving the series a more regional character than Grosvenor’s flagship tours.

The Next G200 and G300 Round Starts November 10

The series now takes a short break before resuming in mid-November.

Leeds hosts G300 Round 10 from November 10–15, again with a £100,000 guarantee. Over the same dates, Round 13 of the G200 heads to Bolton and Edinburgh with £50,000 guaranteed at each venue.
