True grinders don't look for an excuse to slow down when they reach the top of their profession; they simply look for the next mountain to climb. Michael Mizrachi showcased that exact relentless mindset at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, conquering a stacked field to win the 2026 $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship

The victory pushed his career earnings well past the $30 million milestone and earned him a ninth career WSOP gold bracelet alongside a massive seven-figure cash.

Final Standings and Mizrachi’s New Elite Status

The victory officially places Mizrachi in a legendary group alongside icons like Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, and Erik Seidel. Outlasting the 836-entry field required navigating an elite final table, which concluded with the following official payouts:

Reflecting on his achievement, Mizrachi noted that shifting gears to the four-card variant provided a welcomed change of pace after years of dominating the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. Securing a world championship title in a completely different format stands as a major point of pride for the veteran pro.

Looking ahead, "The Grinder" has his sights set on catching Phil Hellmuth's record of 17 bracelets, a goal he plans to pursue by maintaining a high-volume schedule across both the summer series and winter stops in the Bahamas.

Rather than taking a break to rest up for his upcoming Main Event title defense, his immediate evening plans involved a quiet celebratory dinner with friends before jumping directly into the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Championship the following afternoon.

Picking Off the Bluffs and Fending Off a Late Counter-Attack

Mizrachi's victory was built on a dominant performance that started on the opening day of play. His chip lead faced its only major threat when Jesse Lonis mounted a brief surge at the final table. In a critical confrontation, Mizrachi flat-called preflop and picked off a heavy turn barrel from Lonis by moving all-in with a pair of aces.

Lonis was caught executing a high-pressure semi-bluff with second pair and a gutshot draw, and when the river bricked, Mizrachi locked up a massive double-up that shifted table control permanently in his direction.

Martin Zamani

Mizrachi quickly cleaned out the remaining players on Day 3, knocking out Toby Joyce, Lonis, Ian Matakis, and Martin Zamani in rapid succession. He returned for Day 4 holding a staggering 80% of the chips in play against Michael Hahn and India’s Zarvan Tumboli.

The short-handed phase proved highly volatile, as Tumboli doubled through the leader by turning a flush against Mizrachi's two pair, and Hahn managed a survival double of his own before falling in third place.

Heads-up play saw Tumboli close the gap even further with a full house cooler, but Mizrachi stopped the momentum by rivering a full house against Tumboli’s trips to take a 5:1 lead. The tournament ended shortly after when Tumboli got his chips in good with pocket aces, only for Mizrachi to drill a straight on the river to lock up his ninth title.
